Can you elaborate on this some more? What is this and what is the goal. I'm intrigued.

at 4 mos I think you're fine. Chew them up WELL. I love them. Drink lots of Water too. Don't think the membership is required.

I tried to start a guys sleeve group last year. Had great response but my travel schedule was/is so crazy I dropped the ball. I'd love to put something together if everyone is still interested.

Just got an email from one of my friends. Today only at vitaminworld.com...30% off + free shipping. Quest Bars end up being $20 a box.

Too funny. I did as well so I'm not buying any at this point but wanted to pass the info on. -
Today only at GNC, 25% off using VORTEX code. It works. Just tried it.

Quest Bars are not what they say they are
fatnomo replied to Oregondaisy's topic in Food and Nutrition
They're not at costco. You can order them from Quest directly or Amazon, Vitamin Shoppe, and GNC. Several times a year GNC has a discount code for a super deal. I'll order several boxes. Same with Vit Shop. I also get them from a local store here in Dallas area as they'll give me box price for mix and match. Typically though I've found VS to have best price. -

I can tell you that I love and live on the Quest Bars. I eat at least two a day and can tell you from my experience and close friends that if you don't believe they are packed with fiber to try three of them in a twelve hour period and see what happens. I am a kool aid drinking Quest zealot. I am confident Quest will avail themselves in this lawsuit. For the record I do not work for or am in any way affiliated with Quest other than them getting way too much of my money each month via my GNC store. :-) -
Quest bars rock. I live off of them. Google them. Super low net carbs. Ton of fiber and protein and the favors are amazing.

Almost a year out. Past few weeks I've been eating nonstop. No idea what's going on. Not full like I used to be. Feel like the "old me".
-
Nope, not really. I go up and down between 1-4 pounds weekly but am confident it's typically Water. Fairly solid at 225 for the past 4 months. Big time stall.

Just got another coupon email from GNC for 30% off. Code is FABFALLDEAL. It also gives you $1.99 shipping.

This will be brief. Was at Whole Foods yesterday and spied these "natural high Protein meal bars". I got the Raw Cashew Cacao as it had the highest protein content with lowest net carbs of the available choices (19p 38c with 12f). If you are into all natural meal bars and like the taste of pure evil mixed with a dash of ass then this is the bar for you. Pros: It IS in fact a healthy all natural Meal Replacement bar. No questions there. It provides what it says it does. Cons: It looks like what my dog deposits in the back yard and while I do not have empirical data on the next comparison I'm guessing it tastes similar as well. They must call this Warrior Meal as only someone in a war torn desert about to die if they don't get food would eat this. I guess I'll never make it as a warrior. I'd go have my stomach pumped but I'm afraid I'd taste this monstrosity over again on the way out.

Been eating a package of Kirklands dry roasted sea weed each day. Only 100 calories for the entire package and within a week I was regular like clock work.

Week 2 Day 3...Still despise running. Maybe slightly less than last week but still despise. :-)
-
Week one Day three. I despise running....Not "dislike"...DESPISE! :-)

I ordered 4 boxes and the code GIVEMEMORE (must be in CAPS) worked. They also have $1.00 flat rate shipping. If you're a GNC member there is an additional discount. With that and the code I got each box for $18.89.

I just did it. Have not gotten them yet but it appears to be on the up and up. http://us4.campaign-archive2.com/?u=7ff17c98a6907eed6c4e147b1&id=bc7ce0a51b&e=053fbaeb99

Great article as I've been considering doing crossfit. Only issue is this myth that muscle weighs more than fat. 16 ounces is 16 ounces. A pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of dirt. Muscle IS more dense but weight is weight. Thanks for posting this. It was totally informative. -
I'm good for two or three a month and other than typical cigar issues (breath etc) I've had ZERO issues. I was sleeved last November and waited about 4 months.

I'm interested in putting together a men's group to meet at least monthly. Nutritional support and just basic guy talk. The local coed groups are fine but I'm seeing and reading more and more guy sleeves who just need that " Band of Brothers" environment. Looking for a place for us to be honest and transparent, but intentional in our struggles as well as victories. I live in the Frisco area but am willing to travel (within reason). I am willing to bet we could get a NUT to join us as well. My preference is during the week after work. Weekends are difficult due to family time. Thoughts?
