I must confess...I am one who goes a while before posting. I always find myself very busy and never find any time "for Veronica," hence the name. I have a full time job like everyone else, my husband and I hardly see each other except for weekends and we have four boys! I guess the weekends are more than enough :heh: I leave home at 6 a.m.ish and get home around 6 p.m.ish. He starts at 6 p.m. and gets home at 2:30 a.m. We only "see" each other on the weekends. Turner 24 - My heart goes out to you too. Call the doctor's office that's the only way you'll find out whether they'll fill you or not. Don't be embarassed by your 40 pound loss. Be proud of it. I had lost 40 pounds but have gained back 10 and I was banded in 2004! I've had one baby since but am proud of the weight I have lost. (My husband complains though b/c we paid ourselves. I figure he'll eventually get over it.:heh: ) As for the Herbalife, I ordered the shake yesterday through my sister-in-law. I guess I can't back out this time. I was going to get the one from Curves, but decided to try this one first. I just don't think oatmeal for breakfast, a salad for lunch and cereal for dinner is very healthy. I did walk on the treadmill for 1/2 hour today:clap2: . That was a step in the right direction. Well, the kids need this computer for research so I guess my time is up. Check back tomorrow.

Hello everyone! Everyone is doing great! Keep it up! Turner24 - the same thiing happens to me during that TOM. Teresita - Congrats on the job well done! I am thinking about trying Herbalife for the shake's nutritional value. Have any of you ever tried it?

Avilla - My band goes through spurts too. At times I could eat a lot and other times I can't get a thing down. I have also found that when the time for a fill is close I doubt whether I should get one or not b/c it suddenly starts working. Well, I finished the Kissables. I am so happy. I am not going to buy anymore. Tomorrow is the last day before Spring Break and I hope I could break the habit. I am also hoping to get on the treadmill everyday. I weighed in this morning and lost one pound. I guess that daily salad for lunch is working out after all. :clap2: Well, I'm off to start my water. I hope I don't :notagree on the toilet. Breakfast - oatmeal Lunch - salad Dinner - cereal? Take care all and keep up the good work! BTW - Is flax seed good for us? Or shoudl I ask if we could tolerate it with the band?

cdgmom - I can definitely relate to the candy thing. I have a bag of Kissables in my drawer and eat them constantly throughout the day. My excuse is that my sugar drops and I get really shaky. I know that eating the candy all day is not the answer but I can't help myself. I went w/o it for a day and I was literally going nuts! Sometimes I feel like I'm beating a dead horse :deadhorse: and I am the horse! Suggestions anyone?:help: Doula Lea - Welcome!:high5: Angela - I am glad to hear that the scale is finally moving in the right direciton. Meals BKFST - oatmeal and coffee lunch - salad dinner - perhaps Cereal H2O - none (Here is the PROBLEM) 16 oz. of cranberry juice Well, tomorrow is weigh in. I am not expecting great results. BTW - what should be an average weekly loss for a bandster?

Just a quick hello ladies. I gained 1.5 pounds this week. I am SOOOOO frustrated. Work has been hectic. I barely had a chance to drink my coffee. Tomorrow is also going to be hectic and extra long. Exercise hasn't even been considered this week. Welcome Tammy! I am new here too.

Tann, I love the scale! It does what mine does every week! Avilla, my scale hasn't gone in the right direction since I had my last child and he's going to be two at the end of June! I can completely understand your frustration. Turner24 - I had a strawberry margarita when I went out with my husband too! It was delicious. Tann - We are ready to follow you into battle I haven't been doing so good on the Water. I am having trouble distinguishing when to eat out of hunger and when it's out of habit. I am borderline diabetic, whatever that means. But I do notice that I my sugar is on a roller coaster ride b/c it will drop and I will eat a piece of candy and I'll be fine and if I eat more it will go sky high and drop suddenly. Any suggestions? BTW - I though Boot Camp started last Wednesday? Does it start this coming Monday? If so, when will it end? Alright ladies, make it a great day or not, the choice is ours.

Sounds like everyone is doing great! I went out to watch a movie with my husband last night and went to the park for 3 hours with my boys! I am so exhausted. I still lhave to finish the laundry and hopefully get to sleep early. My energy level has been very low for the past couple of months. I forgot to buy a bag of salad for the week, I think I have to plan my weekends a little better. I also went shopping today. I am at a point in my life where I just hate to go shopping (for clothes). Nothing ever fits. I did find two dresses for work though. I can't wait to lose more weight to enjoy shopping again. Tann, I have actually gained 9.5 pounds in the last two months. Strange how it takes forever to lose a pound and in the blink of an eye the scale goes up two or three pounds. Thank you all for the warm welcome.
