I am feeling so good, two weeks now banded and today went for a follow up, I opted for getting the first fill, they put 2cc. She said I could wait two more weeks, but I find I am getting a bit hungry again, so I SAID PUT SOME SALINE..!! Incisions are healed, the only minor discomfort is the port- Not pain but like the area swells up, DR said it might take months for it to heal completely. I am eating small portions and before I get the pain in the shoulder warning I stop eating, so far so good, sugar levels are perfect!!! Lost 26 pounds since Dec 28!!! I am feeling so great!!! BEST BEST decision ever!!! I don't tell everybody only a few selected people...I won't allow anybody take away my joy!!! I just want to write to insurance that they should've approved me sooner, they took a year and six months....but everything is in God's time!!! OH and the filing didn't even hurt!!!!

Hello my friends, I continue to do awesome ( to God be the glory) I am tolerating liquids, the mushy food and nothing has made me sick so far, or nauseous ...I felt my stomach bit swollen last night at the end of the day. I have a tip for you all, SAGE tea...I drank a cup (slowly of course) and it was wonderful!!!! I had bought it long ago at a Health store, for night sweats...but go online and see all the other benefits of it!!! I really helped me last night and this morning 4 days after surgery, I feel great!!! Good luck to al!! you are all in my prayers!!!!

I had my surgery yesterday at 11am, everything went well considering that this is my first surgery ever!!!!! I woke up with a lot of pain right in the mouth of my stomach, Dr also fixed a hiatal hernia.... I was so nervous but the Hospital staff where I also work as an IT analyst, they are all so nice...a few nurses asking why (since I am not that big) why? urghhh...it did annoy me...made me feel guilty....I've been researching for years this surgery and my wife had it done, I was 233 and getting heavier, and 3 morbid conditions...I couldn't lose a few pounds despite several attempts...well Here I go my Lapband I know it will help me in this journey...I know I have to commit a 100 % to follow up as mandated for the lapland and I know I will make it!!! Congratulations to all in this forum...a few things for those who will be getting it later this month...You will have pain, the meds help...the port feels so weird...walk, walk, walk, you will have to take it easy drinking the liquids...I am feeling a bit restricted. I was discharged today..and doing great...a bit pain...

my date is 1/7, its seems like months since the Preop diet, only had to do for 10 days.
