WOW... You know the saying.... Walk a mile in my shoes???? I'm shocked by some of the ignorance in this "support" group so I will not address you further as you have clearly shown your lack of sympathy and empathy.... To the couple who sympathized and understand where frustration comes from, I thank you!!!! I am a 37 yo mother of 5 one of whom we adopted 3 yrs ago. She is a most precious angel who by the grace of god has made it to see her 4th birthday when every Dr. Said she would NEVER see her first! She was born addicted to many drugs was in a drug induced coma for the first 8 months of life. She suffered a spinal cord injury in utero (from a failed abortion) which has caused her to be a quadraplegic and is the highest status one level in need of an intestinal transplant. We saw the love in her eyes and we adopted her. She has suffered NO brain injury (AMAZING) and she is so amazingly smart she uses a power wheelchair which she controls with her head and a computer that she controls with her eyes to talk and play games. She is trached and on a vent. I am her mother, her nurse and her advocate as well as being an advocate for special needs adoption. We fight along with her EVERY DAY while doing all of her IV's, blood draws daily needles and meds. So THIS IF YOU who felt the need to be cruel and mean to me on this site rather than compassionate and understanding, I pity you. Yes I came across bitchy and but to KNOW ONE other than MYSELF.... I'm frustrated, im still in pain ( I had a Hiatel hernia so bad that they could not see my stomach at all cause it was inside my diaphragm and esophagus completely. My Dr. Has moved out of state and I now need to find a new one so FORGIVE ME for needing for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE some compassion and support.... If any of you kind ones who sympathize care to see my beautiful angel and see pics and videos of how aazing she is, you can go to her Facebook page called Saving Bella

I boil 2 dozen for the week ( my kids eat them also) here's a tip for EASY EASY PEELING! Cover eggs with cold water add 1 Tbsp salt and 1 1/2 tsp baking soda bring to a boil the cover and turn off the heat. Let sit for 15 min. Then drain and rsoak in cold water to stop cooking and the refrigerate for at least 3 hrs ( overnite is better). The baking soda does something chemically to the shell that makes them super easy to peel

These were amazing!!!!!!!! The WHOLE family loved them, hubby and all 5 kids including my 1 yr old!!!!!! DELISH

MONSTER hiatal hernia
Betsy16049 replied to ATXVeg's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Same here. hernia was the worst my Dr. Has ever seen ( must be what they tell all of us smh lol) I'm 3 weeks post ip and the first 2 1/2 weeks was really bad. I thought something was wrong I thought I was dying but I'm walking normal now. Getting out of bed and down on the floor with the babies is still hard, but I can breathe a lot easier and my heart burn has gotten better -
I'm 3 FULL weeks post op. I can eat soft foods like egg salad, tuna, and moist shredded chicken. But what about imitation crab meat. I LOVE it!

I am 2 weeks post op. I have a softball size lump where my port is. It starts under my breast and goes downward. It makes it hard to bend, twist, sit straight. Feels like part gets caught between my ribs. I know I'm swollen, but this just seems extreme to me. Also I have sharp stabbing pains in my breast on that side at different times of the day.... Any suggestions or anyone else with this issue?

Love this idea for salad for lunch. The possibilities are endless!

I really like it, I add parsley and crush up a couple saltines and it's great. It tastes just like cup o soup, very very good.
