Day 2 of the post op! Sleeping on your back really bugs! I've been walking laps like crash!

Got banded this morning! In the recovery room! Everything went well, except I can't pee! And I can't leave til I do! Oh noooooo

I'm soooo excited to get banded on Monday! But I find myself freaking myself out about it. Like morbid thoughts :/ I keep thinking that something is gonna go wrong and I'm not gonna make it for some crazy reason! Also, I've been thinking about my incisions ripping open. Ive been having dreams that I wake up and blood is everywhere. So I'm freaking out that I'm gonna rip them open somehow. My mom has had her lap band for years and she keeps telling me that it's not going to happen and everything will be fine. Am I weird for having these thoughts?! I want this band SO band. I just wish my thoughts were right!

I have struggled every day. I am about to start my 5th day tomorrow and today was the first time I actually sat with people while they ate fast food. Made me mouth water but I continued to sip on my protein shake like a good girl I am down 13lbs in 4 days. Pretty happy that I am sticking to it.

day 3 of my 10 day pre op diet! Yesterday I had a horrible headache! And it's been rough being around my family while they eat. However, I am down 12lbs! Woo! Seven days til I'm banded!

My day 1 pre op diet is coming to a close. I've been obsessed with food all day. Wanting thIngs I don't even really like just cause they show it on tv. Lol. Having family go out to dinner without me is rough. I have checked this website more twenty times today looking for encouraging words, it has helped huge. I keep saying to myself "it'll all be worth it"

I'm on day 1 of my 10 day pre op diet and its already rough! 3 protein shakes a day. THAT'S IT. I need strength! Lol

Just found out that my surgery for lap band will be in just 10 days! Took my surprise! Starting to get the jitters a little. That's normal though, right?! I'm so blessed to be living with someone who has had lapband for three years now....my mom! She is my biggest cheerleader and supporter in this journey. I can't wait to see where this lifestyle change will take me!

I just got my date today! January 14th! Ten days....AHHHH! I got super nervous after I saw my date on paper in front of my face though!
