I'm anemic too, b/c of loooong bad periods with pcos. I've done the transfusion thing, and it usually helps. I'm so glad you might be going home!!

That GoLytley stuff. It was a big 4 liter bottle with pineapple flavored powder in the bottom, just fill shake and chug 8 oz every ten minutes. Oh my goodness. It was rough! I'm all done now, I had to drink it 17 times! On the last one I thought I wasn't going to be able to hold it down! So glad that's over.

Surgery is tomorrow, and I'll be posting from my iPod or tablet at the hospital, and this thing is much easier on a keyboard! That way I can get it all right tonight! After this, please feel free to copy and paste to make corrections! I don't mind at all! We went from about ten or fifteen when I started this thread to 74 people!!! And that's if I haven't missed anyone! I love this group!!

Who else is excited and nervous about Monday? I can't wait to get to the hospital and get this done! My day is almost here! My house is clean, laundry is almost done, almost, foils in my hair now as we speak... I know I won't feel like it for awhile, and my wig is starting to look busted, I don't want to look like crap AND feel like crap! Lol!! Bowel prep tomorrow! Are my surgery buddies ready?

My EGD went well. Throat is a little sore. He did a biopsy. He told me that I told him all about my week and some other stuff when I was coming off the anesthesia, lol... I said you better tell me!! He said he couldn't do that, but that he would definitely have to call my husband later tonight and have a talk with him. Lol.... Oh boy.... he said they call it the "truth serum" Lol.

Anyone with a BMI over 50 that does not have to do Lovenox injections for a month post op

I attended seminars for both of your surgeons! but Dr Mitchell came highly recommended my surgery is on the 18th of this month I'm so excited!

I agree that's probably what it is they pump you full of fluids anytime you have surgery
