most everyone has hard times and understands the emotions that comes w/ it. I'm sitting here with no bread no milk no cheese 2 kids wanting hot dogs a disconnect notice of my Water for tomorrow and I still have not sent off the weight loss challenge prize! and my son came home with a black eye I cant use my Credit cards cause they are maxed out all 1,500.00 worth lol I don't have much plastic credit. Believe me I feel for you cause I know how it is. Take one day at a time, breath sometimes things are out of your hands and all you can do is pray to your beliefs. I wish you the best of luck in your time of need. Big Hugs~ Just went over to ebay to check my auctions, I'm selling some sewing patterns and stuff to hold us over til pay day~ This may be something you too can do, any out grown clothes unused appliances etc. I know sometimes you dont have anything you can sell but sometimes you do! Like me I had sewing patterns for sizes I cant wear they have never been cut so I'm selling them for bread money LOL

Take it REAL slow and Chew chew chew chew.. you'll be amazed at how your tastes will change. Things you would have normally gulped down and never tasted will be nasty tasting and you'll really enjoy a good tasting meal. Because you will actually be tasting it! At least thats what happened to me Did I mention Chew?

I am one that is super sensitive to fills, I was at 2.0 Dr wanted to give me a fill and I was too tight dehydrated and had to be unfilled. next fill he tried to put me back to 1.8 where I was to Begin with and still too tight I went back and had unfill for almost 2 months. Went back Dr put 1.8 I couldn't swallow the Water he makes me drink during fill, he took me down to 1.0 and it sounded like a clog had been cleared.Gurgle gurgle down the water went. So almost 2 years post op I've got 1cc going tomorrow for a SMALL fill lol Everyone is different some need more some need less.

I cant eat eggrolls they fill me too fast 1/2 one and not good for me. I can eat any rice dish. I have no issues with the soups but my Dr. wants me to stay away from soups. I can eat about 5 pieces of chicken out of a meal normally get general tso's or sesame chicken. I LOVE CRAB RAGOONS -
lol, I'm an addict too. I make them @ home we call them peanut butter fudge. My Grand ma taught me how to make them, she would roll the peanut butter mix into balls then on a toothpick dip them into chocolate. I only make them 1 or 2 times a year. Xmas and if we go somewhere we have to bring a desert. My hubby cannot see a movie in the theater w/out his reeses pieces, I cant watch it w/out popcorn! lol I bet I could change up my recipe using low fat peanut butter, splinda (sp) hmm dunno. I'm going to go eat an apple and peanut butter now

2 years ago I was 27 year old Mother of 2 who weighed 264 pounds and wore a size 20 pant. I couldn’t play with my kids outside of video games. I got winded just walking to the mailbox. I had aches all over my back stayed out all the time placing me in bed a month at a time. I took pills for my pain until it became an everyday thing. Before I was obese I never took pills even gave birth twice all natural. I was ashamed of my body and that caused sexual non-existence for my marriage. Which caused relationship friction between my husband and I. I was very depressed all of the time, and had suicidal thoughts. I researched WLS for over a year, scared of being cut. When I found the band I knew it was going to be the thing that saved my life. I made the calls and made the apt. Approved in 30 days. The day of my surgery I was a total blank for the 3 hour ride to the hospital once there and I had my IV I started to freak out! Scared am I doing the right thing etc all the normal pre surgery jitters. My healing went well, 4 days after surgery I was back to riding my bike 2 miles a day. The first 3 days were HELL for me though. I slept a lot and bending for the pot hurt like all heck. The first year I sailed thru~ no issues~ no pains~ very smooth. In my 2nd year I’ve had two overly tight fills. No biggie they just unfilled me. ya, it sucks but once I was non swollen and better I got another fill and moved on. August will be my complete 2nd year banded and I would do it over again in a heartbeat! I truly believe the band saved my life, and my relationship with my family. We now go camping, roller skating, school functions, swimming, you name it if it’s outside no matter how many people I don’t even think twice about it! I turn 29 on May 31st this year I now weigh 75 pounds less and wear a size 12-14. Even my shoe size got smaller! That surprised me!! I dance, in public even! I wear things that make me feel sexy, I feel like a woman again and have had minimum depression issues (can’t say I have none that would be a lie, it runs in my family) I go in tomorrow for another fill, then I head for FL on next Tues. where I will go to Disney world and not have to wonder if I will fit in the ride carts! I have to say that fitting into a roller coaster seat to ride with my family was one of the biggest NSV’s I’ve had! Hugs to all~ Nana~

People just talk about it more when they are having issues, looking for advice etc. Not many people start a thread saying hey I'm almost 2 yrs out and had no major issues to date. Or that would be me, Ive only been too tight twice and knew it within 3 days after fill and had it removed. I believe there are alot of success stories out there, Maybe I'll start a thread :nono: you've inspired me!
