So, today, I tried a chewy piece of meat. Chewed the hell out of it. Well, it wasn't 15 seconds, and I felt it in my chest. First time since being banded (1 month) something didn't go down...came back up. That was 4 hours ago. Still feel a little backed up, when drinking. What's the scoop. I know I screwed up, but is this feeling going to pass? What should be my plan of action?

Has anyone ever had it done because of being stuck. I had it done today. Rough day!
-
Well guys, I'm feeling pretty good today. The True Results Houston has been really good to me. I am a little sore in the chest area, around the band, and I am back on liquids. All is good. Most expensive piece of meat that I have ever eaten.
-
It turned out that when they placed my band, I had one cc in there. I told the nurse that I thought it was empty... She looked at me crazily! It must be common practice to put a little in at the time of surgery. What's the big secret, tell us, Dammit!
-
Thank you!

I just typed out a response, and it did not post. In short, just so sad, and since my wife wasn't supportive in the beginning, this didn't help her opinion of things. please pray for me and an uneventful life with the band from this point forward!

I am a cattle rancher Turned complete baby today, crying, emotional. I went in for an evaluation, and came out in a wheelchair, having a family's member drive over 60 miles to come get me after having the doctor push the lodged meat through the band.

Truly the worst health experience of my life
-
Well, I went in today. Yea. Worst day of my life. They had to put me under. I was truly stuck. They pushed it through. It was a piece of meat. As a cattle rancher, I am truly considering becoming a vegetarian. Sad day! Seriously, felt like removing it entirely. Feel like a huge failure, with my huge mistake.

Does your stomach swell? I am going in tomorrow, thank goodness; but now I can't really get anything down with any thickness. Protein shakes are going, but cream soup is a 'no-go'. Broth went. I got my band on March 11. There was no fill! What's the prob, bob?
-
I appreciate the comments. Makes me feel like I'm not on an island. I'll tell them tomorrow, and see what they say.
-
Water, tea, coffee, pineapple juice has all gone down. I don't know if I'm truly 'stuck' anymore. When I was, I did slime, and get it out. What does it feel like after? Are you sore around the band?
-
When the protein shake comes up, nothing else does. Sorry about the constant post. Just want answers. :/
-
Water is going down slowly. Protein shake is a no-go. Still stuck? Swollen? Or messed up band? Dammit!!!
-
Thank you. There isn't any coming up, at all when trying to upchuck! Guess all went through. Water still sits pretty heavy. I guess I just irritated it? Kinda worried!
-
So will this feeling pass? How long can I expect?
-
No. I am going in on Monday. I know it is gross, but the meat looked really chewed, it just was like compacted together. I don't know if the feeling now is soreness or if something is still in there.

I'm one week post op. I itch so bad, I want to scratch my darn stomach off! From the hair growing back to the incisions healing, I'm about to go nuts! Dammit! Haha
-
The incision is sealed. They said that it didn't hurt it.
-
Think liquid Benadryl will help?
-
Where the tape was, it was red and swollen on each incision.

So, my stomach still itches. Inches appear good, with no infection (not oozing or sore). I'm a principal at a middle school. The school nurse said it looks like an allergic reaction to the bandages. Anyone have anything like this?
