Ill keep this as clean as possible. Has anyone had issues with going #2? I was banded Jan 8th and by the second day I was in so much pain I was close to going to the ER. Several bottles of water with miralax, 2 enemas and some 'soul searching' to release the impact in my bowels I was much better. 6 months later...same situation. Except now im on vacation and don't have access to all the other things. I did some 'soul searching' this morning and this evening and finally got relief. This time was different because I had some blood as I relieved myself. What are you taking (daily or otherwise) to prevent hard and near impossible to pass stool? When I fly back tomorrow im going to make an appointment with the dr about the blood in the stool part.

Nice to meet everyone

I picked up some stool softener today and am going to add the miralax back to my diet. Im not a fan of this 'soul searching' as it feels like sometimes. Definitely going to talk to the dr. Thanks again.

Minr is brittaniej. I haven't been active this week since I've been on vacation. -
I am actually the opposite direction. Prior to my surgery I had a very active libido. I've been banded 7 months now and have had sex...three times. Im not interested in sex the same way I used to be. Im down 60lbs but I don't have the same confidence I had when I was heavier.

Im actually having similar symptoms. I am 2 months out, down 33 lbs. The sharp pain I first noticed was I was sitting on my couch attempted to get up and felt like someone stabbed me in my side. Lately I'm sore bending over, trying to tie my shoes, sometimes when I sleep. I asked my doctor and he advised I was still healing and to take things easy and not rush into any extraneous activities. Im just wondering if this is normal at this stage. I was banded 1/8/13. Other than this soreness in my side the procedure has been wonderful. I don't have any other complications that I've been seeing on the forums or any horror story.

I just got the fitbit one and the aria scale. I love that the scale auto syncs to MFP and I dont have to manually enter my weight when I weigh in. I used a motoactv prior to my band to help with cyclcing. Of the fitbit and the motoactv, I love my fitbit. Its easy to wear and support. It doesnt tracking cycling and doesnt auto sync with my android, but it tracks my steps and sleep and gives tips on how to get better results. Plus i love seeing badges of progress in my email, like a little push to keep getting better.

Whats great about some of the aqua classes at the gyms or the Y is that the Water isnt too deep. Im doing an aqua cardio class at 24/Fitness and I dont have trouble with the depth of the water because its just below my chest area, and Im 5'9. The classes are great for your skin and your joints.

That would be awesome. Mondays are generally crazy for me. I know in march i will be available. I have a crappy work schedule sometimes.

How much have you lost since your Jan 2013 surgery?

Good Evening. I am down 27lbs so far. Ive been diligent about getting active. I walk twice a day with people I work with. Tomorrow I will be adding in aqua cardio at the gym to work on my joints without the stress of the machines in the gym and running on my knees. -

Please recommend protein shake brand
Brittanie replied to mbmoore2518's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I found pure protein shakes at walmart. 23g of protein and 1g of sugar. Best when served cold. -
Good afternoon. I have my operation on the 8th and am on a preop diet of liquids only. Im only getting about 600 calories right now and feel like im not getting enough. Im a little hungry but not starving. I have 3 pure protein shakes a day and 1 serving of pureed soup.
