I woke up this morning and i amost immediatey went back to sleeP..had a massive headache (i reallyyyyy want a coffee)) Im feeling oK now just sipping on some gatorade the gas is almost gone its the port incision thats a pain

hi Annie...i have those moments too....its hard to get comfy to sleep... id like to eat... even yogourt sounds so good right now! but we'll get better !!!lets stay positive we wont feel like this for much longer!!!! hang in there!!

all these little things that make us soooo happy!! im happy to be a part of lapbandtalk now as i see myself ( how i feel etc) in other people... no wonder im up to a size 9 in my shoes and i was always a size 8... i didnt realize that gaining so much weight you go up in shoe sizes also ughhh well everything is about to start going down now ( i was banded yesterday morning!) you're doing awesome and thanks again for sharing your stories!!!

so my husband crushed my meds in a spoon with honey and water and it was actually mmmm lol the gas pains in my shoulders and neck is waaayyyy better than yesterday! my port incision is still really sore and im soooo thirstyyyy... i wanna chug down some cold cold water but i know small slow sips... lol.. glad to hear everyone is doiing well and thanks everyone for the tips and encouragement etc! i had a "moment" last night where i just thought " aaahh man why did i go and do this" but im over that now! i keep coming on here every time i wake up to see how everyone is doing and stuff for motivation!

anniearr yesss!!! that was me! lol looks like we're pretty much all going through the same pains... i still need help getting in and outta bed also.. my bed is very high off the ground so i borrowed one of my kids step thingies to help me get on and off my bed... the meds they prescribed me also put me to sleep but thats ok... i really want to chug down a cold glass of water or gatorade but i know... small and slow sips... i fill my mouth with cold cold water and then spit it back out (sorry tmi)

Yay I'm on the other side!!! Had surgery yesterday morning... The first night was alright with the pain meds... i woke up like 3-4 times but had some good zzzzz once i fell asleep again... the only thing really bothering me is this gas pain uggghh but heat is awesome to eliviate some pain and the port incision is what really bothers me... how do ya'll take your medications? ive crushed them and mixed with water and then with a bit of gatorade but ewwwwww its so gross.. any other options ??

i was at slimband as well! im really not liking this gas pain at all! i feel better this morning compared to yesterday and my port incision is really sore but other than that everything went well! how are you taking your mediciations???

Hello everyone! For all you bandsters getting banded JANUARAY 25th i have created a forum for us ! PLEASE JOIN

I'm on day 4 of pre-op and it is getting much easier! the first 2 days up until yesterday (when i purchased protein bars) i was finding it soooooooo hard!!! i feel much better today and down 5lbs already! keep it up everyone and congrats!!!

I am only just started the pre-op diet (2 days now) and i have headaches alot... ive been logging on very often for motivation!!

I'm in ottawa how is eerythinggoing?

I am also on the high protein,low Carb dieT... Fish,turkey,chikcen, no fruits...I need to find the time to prepare food in advance since I'm in the car driving long distance everyday...doesn't help that my co-workers stop for fast food very often!! I'm hanging on as hard as I can
