I called the number and they are a brand new company and will start on Jan 10th and at that time they will have their own Website so that anyone that does not have a fill Dr. can be given a name hopefully of someone close to your area. I gave the gal my E-mail address so that she can send information regarding the services they provide as soon as I get that I will post it. She did mention that they have not even marketed their Company and was very surprised that news travels fast.

Here is one about my Husbands mother and you all tell me if you see anything wrong with this picture. Anytime my mother inlaw is around my husband she wants him to be hugging on her and when he gives her a hug and a peck on the cheek she will turn to look at me. Why? After we are gone she will tell my sister inlaws how jealous I am of her She also insists that he calls her Mommy and when ever we say we are leaving she tells him where are you going are you going to leave your Mommy alone the lady has her husband and other daughters and sons there. She treats the sons this way lately she has been telling my 2 boys to call her Mommy when my older son (6yrs) told my I got pissed I told her I do not mind if they called you Mommy but you are the Grandmother and that is your place in my world so bear it lady. I usually respect my elders but she has a problem and I do not want her to include my sons in that sick world of hers.

Wow you sure are doing great with your loss. Grand Junction sure is far I belive there are others from your area or if not close by. I have heard thru the support group Leaders that they were going to do some kind of Satalite support not sure when. There are quite a few of us Banders and RYN'S in Colo and not everyone can get here to Greeley without making a long road trip. I go to the support meeting once every month and sometimes if I have time I will drop in on the nites it's the Bypass I figure we are all trying to make the same goal with our loss. They are all a pretty great group and there is a web site for Dr. Johnells patience other than his web site it is under ColoradoWLS. How much do you have now? I had to have a little taken out seems I got some mucus from my sinus infection going down and wala to tight now I am at 1.1cc's and so far so good I go back the last week before the new year not sure what my insurance is going to do for next year they say LapBand is not going to be covered very glad I did it before then. I have never tried the chat do not know how it works but I will check into it let me know. Well back to work for me Take care and Welcome again

I myself can now buckle my seat belt without any problems and the biggest one so far I can now tie my own shoelaces and my DH does not need to do it for me when we are out in public. And the funniest when I would stand straight up and try to look down at my toes before I would have to try and move everything else out of the way or moosh it down to see but no more I can see just fine. I love my new self so many new NSV's everyday that I am so amazed and I thank the Lord for this new chance to just be me.

I told only my immediate family and of course my Husband. My coworkers knew just because the Gal who took me to the support meetings works with me so far there are 3 of us in the building that have the band. All the support from my friends here is very positive as well as with my family. Now the negative my husband told his mother inturn she told my sister inlaws and since then anytime I walk in the house they just stare at me seems my sister inlaw told my husband she would never consider the band or any WLS just because her husband loved her to much to permit it Which is a crock of you know what (excuse my language) this gal went to Mexico this spring and did something cause within a matter of months she was bragging she lost 50 lbs she just won't admit it anyway she is pregnant and has already gained those 50 plus more. But I do tell non -Inlaw people I come across if asked how I am losing the weight but I also add that I work at it each and everyday. Sorry so long winded

Hi Deb, Did you recently get a new fill? Like Marie asks are you PBing alot? I had a problem with my stomach about 2 weeks ago I pb'd twice, once each day Thursday & Friday and by the following next week any time I ate I felt a pain in my lower stomach so By That Friday I went in they did an upper GI thank God it came out ok but the Dr thought when I pb'd I irritated the stoma and I was put on Nexium for 3 weeks and a slight unfill. Just thought I would share what happened to me since it sounds familier. I was at 1.3cc's then with the unfill down to .8cc's as of yesterday feeling alot better I am at 1.1cc's so far the Nexium helped me. Hope you get better

Hi Linda, Just want to say welcome and great that you have found this site. I just recently came out of lurking to join the group, first place I visited before deciding on the band. Best wishes on your new Band

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone I have been lurking for quite some time. I am the mother of 2 small children my youngest just turned 3 and my oldest will be 7 in December so it was very important to me to be around for along time for them also my hubby. I was banded on July 16th in Greeley, Colorado By Dr. Johnell So far I am doing fine hanging in there and of course you have your ups and downs but I believe it is how you deal with them. I started off at 241.00 and am now down to 196.3 which is unbelievable to me I am beyond words. My goal weight for me would be around 160.00 so hoping I can reach that in the next year and then just maintain myself. At this time I am at .8cc had to have some taken out I was at 1.3 cc which belive it or not was to tight and after some PBing irritated my Stoma and had to have some fill removed which is ok since I now really watch what I eat untill my next fill next week Kinda enjoying that I can eat a little more. Well I won't bore you anymore with me but just like to say that I enjoy the site and the people. Mary E

Hi Denise, You know the first month and a half I was not hungry I had to remind myself to eat I also went by his Bible Book he gives us on what we should eat. I still find that I refer back to the good food vs bad food and I walked alot the first 2 months. Just remember when you feel the need to eat and it's not time drink Water I found that would hold me for awhile other than that it is just getting the hunger out of my head rather than my stomach does that make sense? I also measured my portions when it was time to eat you know the little ounce cups they gave us so that I could visually see the quanity rather than putting food on a regular plate. Remember when the scale has not moved you may lose inches rather than pounds but those 15 you have lost and being only less than two weeks out is awesome Good Job.
