I just got over a horrible sore throat I myself thought it was reflux 1st cause I could not swallow and had burning when I drank Water. But the phlegm showed up then I new it was a cold I have been babying myself warm liquids and Nexium that the Dr told me to take. Just check with your Dr and see if they can give you any advise or take a look. Oh and Congrats

Well today my husband called me after 4pm School wanted me to come in. Needless to say they had a guest Speaker and he was all over the place making noises. Talked with the Principal for awhile and explained that he shows none of those signs at home just is beyond me. But I did mention the appt to his Dad at least. Now does Strattara come only in a pill or a tablet that disolves? Thanks Paula at least I need not worry in the eating dept but I guess just like my band we will learn as we go.

when I lay down my port is a little lower I can feel it when I do a sorta sit up. When I stand up it is right under my bra line. Other than that no need to feel it sort of happens by mistake kinda freaks me out.

You are amazing because if we were scrunched for time and a co-worker like Erin was around eating while we had a deadline I would have screamed at her (not really) But I cringed at the thought if something would have happend to all the paper work.. And how could she offer you something she already put her cooties on.. Yuk

Hi Leslie sounds like you are on the right track but like Michelle says try adding Harder Protien with your egg. I myself do protien drinks all morning and by mid morning I introduce chicken or tuna for lunch usually stay full till around 4 or 5 so for me it does not take much sometimes I fill good about it other times I would like to stuff myself.. OOOOhh sweets yep I try to be good about that but sometimes I nibble on my sons cup cakes at night. Yep all the ladies and Gentlemen are very helpfull

Thank you Leslie, That is one of my questions how will it affect his appetite right now I make him breakfast before he goes to school then he eats breakfast again at school and at night he eats his dinner then snacks for awhile now he is not chunky pretty slim if you as me. But for him to loose weight would be quite noticeable. Anyway when you say your son gets sick in the mornings was it just the time a day? or on an empty stomach. I need all the information I can get because I have not mentioned it to his Dad yet and I need to show him and prove that we need to do something to get him back on track.

Thank you all - We have a Dr's appt to talk about what we are going to do with him vs medication. He is such a good child and so smart but when he gets to school he is all over the place.. Thanks again

Welcome home Shae Hopefully the gas will pass with movement I would start walking around your house just to get everything moving. Pain should subside in a few days I had to sleep propped up with pillows after a couple of months I could sleep on my tummy with no problem but I have heard those body pillow are wonderful. Just take it easy and welcome to the other side.

Emmy, I agree with everyone. I myself use to love a boiled egg every now and then but as of late I avoid them seems it just does not go down like they use too. And I learned my lesson on trying to help something go down with water just does not help.. We learn as we go..

I am so so sorry the hear that your band slipped. My prayers go out to you. Did they give you a time line as to when they will submit it to the insurance and get it done?

We always think the worst case scenerio with our bands. I will pray that everthing turns out alright and it is a case of your drainage upsetting your tummy..

Angela, I know it is disappointing but it would only be worse if you found out you were PG after being banded you would not only worry about dealing and recovery with the band but the affects of the Anesthesia and any pain meds or other medications that you would have taken on how they were affecting your baby. The day will come when it will be your time, The Lord knows what road he wants you to follow. And if your Dr. Decides that he can still band you I wish you all the best.

I have not had heartburn or feel air in my tumm but my problem of late is i have reflux at night. For instance I can be sleeping and liquid comes up my throat. Another thing I have noticed is drinking water all day causes the back of my throat to burn. My band fills fine do not fill to tight or to loose. My next appt is in 2 weeks so will bring it up with the Dr but not sure what is going on. Is it Gerd????
