Sometimes when I get the signal I am in the process of Chewing my next bite and have to politely spit it out. I hate when it happens cause my head tells me I am not done but then the hic ups tell me yes I am. How weird is that

Good luck, Hope every thing goes good for you.

I put them in the Dryer and in the summer line dry. But if your wife does not complain neither should her friend. Alot of ladies would kill for a man like you.

What a jack @$$ know if you ask me how rude.. opps I cursed sorry But what gives him the right to talk to you like that.. I would definetly call your real surgeon not the wanna be.. Don't do anything drastic with your self because you want to be in the best physical form for your surgery and being dehydrated or lacking in other areas will make you sick.. Please contact the SURGEON and get his view on 1 extra pound.. Best wishes that everthing works out

Welcome Missy, There are many post that address the band in your mushie stage and it's not uncommon to gain back some weight when you do not have a fill. Hang in there and take it day by day it will all work out.
-
Megan great moves you made with all your contacts. Hope you are on your way to recovery.

I have a friend here and she was banded back in Jan of last year anyway I was coming out of the break room one day and another co-worker was making a comment on how much weight I lost when this person yelled out that I had the surgery. I just kept walking I was so mad that she took it upon herself to take it upon herself to yell it out in front of the whole lunch room. I do tell certain people but those people I do not know well I do not mention it.
-
I hear you. I am trying to keep myself busy by generating my reports for Jan. Plus I just ate my lunch so I am safe till 3 I am hoping.

Hair Loss!!! - Is Protein the only solution???
Mita replied to NancySmiles's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hi Nancy, I am using Nutri-ox ( Nitri- Cleaner) it is for thinning and fine hair. I got it at a Beauty Supply store and it has been helping me with my shedding. I still lose some but not quite so much as I was losing there for a bit. I use the Shampoo & Conditioner I think by curling my hair everyday with the curling Iron does not help matters any. Let me know if you find anything -
Hi Jen, Have you tracked what you are eating as far as solids? I find that if I eat chicken for example (solid protein) I stay full longer where if I eat chili beans I get hungrier sooner. I am inconsistant as far as in the mornings I have more restriction than the afternoons and certain times of the month like around the 1st 2 weeks I am much tighter than the latter half. I am still trying to work at it. I would say take it a day at a time but if you find that you are eating alot more and always hungry then of course you would want to talk to your Dr about getting a fill sooner..

thank you, going to check it out

Reflux - GastroEsophageal Reflux Disease
Mita replied to New Hope's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Actually no one has noticed what I did to the bed it's raised about 3 inches and I do find myself kinda inching my way down a bit but not much and actually I feel ok again today. But of course the pill maybe I will stop the pill for a couple of days and see what happens. Oh yeah all those gurgling noises has calmed down a bit the only time I hear it is when my pouch is emptying. Maybe it is safe to go see a movie today. -
That is to cute. Glad that you are feeling much better.
-
Jonathon you sound alot better. Just go slow and little sips and you can send the rib eye my way..
-
Oh Johathon, I am so sorry that you are going through this. I hope you get better and fast. Did the Water stay down this time? I would agree with the others you should go to the ER just to rule out anything else I would think your insurance would cover a emerg visit would'nt they?? Prayers that you get some slack at least to take your meds.. Forgot to ask you some Dr's add a fill when they band you Did he???

Reflux - GastroEsophageal Reflux Disease
Mita replied to New Hope's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
update I raised my bed actually put wood under there and I must say what a differance it made I actually slept the entire night with no reflux but then again I did take that pill yesterday but I will wait and see how I do again tonight and in the following days. One other thing I noticed is coffee that is my down fall ever since I gave up being the soda queen I turned to Coffee at work and I must say I have become quite a coffee drinker that could be adding to my problems. Going to cut down on drinkin so much and when I drink it. As of late after 1pm Thanks for all the advise hoping I get better -
Cannot feel the band at all just the port.
