Ok just got back from My PCP's Office. History - I woke up Sunday with the lower part of my left eye bulging out. I thought (Don't laugh) it was the Peperation H I put under my eyes Thought I must have gotten a hemmoroid. Saw that on Ophra Anyway On Monday yesterday it did not go down and This morning the white part of my eye was swollen if that is possible. After much checking it is Allergies and it does not stop there since I had been sneezing and all the crude draining down the back of my throat has caused my finicky pouch to have more restriction that I am having a hard time drinking water it just pools there. Throat is irritated by the drainage but knock on wood no sinus infection yet. Have to double my dose of flonase and use prescribed eye drops and of course the Allegra. Doc says she thought my burning sensation was heartburn or the acid coming up but I only feel the burning at the middle of my throat so it is my sinus again. Ok I'm done whining :speechles

Thank you all for replying. I feel better today eye is still swelled looks like a pouch with Water in it. I put on my glasses today so it is not quite that noticable. I have not asked my new Doc to see a specialist but will bring that up. I hate taking all these medications first thing in the Am. My allergies are enviromental every time the wind blows I get the sneezes or an Asthma attack. I am doing a bit of wheezing this morning so I know I want to come down with something. Nana I feel so sorry for you. Hope you are getting better you really had it bad.

Welcome Home Nicole you sound like you are doing great. Ditto for you too Patty Keep on getting better.

Pat actually I was just sitting there. Cannot remember what I was doing that was enough to freak me out. Anyway mentioned it to my Doc yesterday and she says she will surely test me when I go in for my yearly. Other than that going to count the days till my next visit with Mother Nature since she is going going almost gone. Zoe your not kidding when you say the first couple days are nasty. Knock on wood it does not get worse.

Talked with My Mom and she says she did not have any Hot Flashes or Sweats that she passed thru it calmly. Hope that is the road I follow but we will see when I go for my check up which is now in April.

Just seen your update. Glad that the Dr's know what is going on and that your sister & Baby are doing fine. Will keep them both in my prayers.

Great Patty, Glad to hear you are doing so good. Nows a good time to rest and take it easy with all that snow..

You made a very good point Megan. I have been feeling more acid in my lower stomach and had to start taking the medication the Doctor gave me to calm it down. I add it up to my sinus acting up again. I have more restriction just trying to drink coffee today.

Hi Paula, Thanks for asking he is doing better but we take it day by day. Many positives and a few negatives but he is coming along fine. We work at it each day re enforcing good choices. Pam you are so right the schools now days push medication like it was candy. We struggled with this for 2yrs now it started with his kindergarden teacher and we changed his teacher to one that was more stricter. Now we got a strict teacher this year and the same thing. He was falling below grade level could not remember what was just taught to him within minutes of going over it. Not to mention self esteem was pretty low with everyone talking down to him as if he was not there. Needless to say the school year is almost over and he is doing alot better and I do see his grade coming up and he holds his head higher. So only time will tell

Does your HUSBAND/ WIFE know your weight????
Mita replied to Belle joufflue une's topic in The Lounge
My husband did not know of my weight before the band. He knows now that I weigh less than him but does not know exactly. -
Kristi you are doing good 25lbs that is awesome. Sometimes we come to a stand still and you may not be dropping pounds but inches instead. Might want to measure your self to be sure but in the coming weeks I bet you will see the pounds start to drop again. Good luck on your first fill.

Whipple don't go I among many will miss your sense of Humor you add so much to LBT as others do, I enjoy coming here through out the day to see what is new. Obvioulsy I missed something somewhere. I believe every road has it's bumps and this may be one of those. I think only postive thoughts of everyone and would like to reply to everyone's questions or comments or even add to the joke thread but sometimes I do not have enough time when I am suppose to be working. But I wish everyone well if they feel they must leave I understand. I wish you and Patty well and that everyday is a good day for her and You.. Best wishes Mary

Welcome to LBT I had my surgery on Friday Am and as soon as they took all the vitals I was up and walking. Yes I was alittle sore but I had 2 C-sections with my boys and it was a lot easier for me this time around. I was back to work the following Tuesday 1/2 days but of course I have a sit down job I did that for 2 weeks. But I would walk around alot just to keep movement in my legs (did not want any blood clots). But like Penni & Marie say everyone is different, Hindsight I should have taken off a week to make sure my body recuperated slowly. But once I was home I rested alot due to being tired since it is major surgery.
