The Band is NOT like buying a sofa or car
Mita replied to vinesqueen's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I agree Vines. When I decided to do this I only had one Dr in mind and since others here at worked went with him as well I could not have been more comfortable. I also checked his stats and made sure he was qualified. And since my Ins was picking up some of the tab I just figured like everything else I would make payments. -
Have Fun you are off to a great Start. We got Snow here and if your not use to it then yes it is pretty cold -13 .. But Thanks to Celseste dba Road Queen with the scarf I am toasty warm and styling.. Be careful on the slick roads they are very scary

I thought it was customary to send the video off to you band doc?? In my case they did.. But then again who could see the protusion if it is on the inside except an Endo?? To tell they truth I wish there was an easier way than the Endo because of the panic attacks I have just going to the hosp. How bad is that?? But I know I need one done. See what happens on Tuesday.. Paula we are also very close in Wt loss too..

I am glad you got a bit of an unfill. Now you can heal and eat again. Karen 6lbs in a month is good and in my book better than good. Take it easy and let your stoma heal..

sorry you are not getting better. I have no opinon on the Splee though.. Get better

I whole heartedly agree that at some point and maybe at the first time reflux starts we should be getting an Endo. I layed on that table back in Oct and rolled this way and that way and the head Hancho was there and said everything is fine. Docs office even said looking at the tape it is fine. So then why do I now have not only reflux but a whole burning sensation in my innards at various times.

Tizag, That is great you are on the road to recovering from all your time in pain. Did Your doctor ever explain why with all the test done they could never see the infection in your esophagus? You see I have been unfilled since Oct and am getting stabbing pains here and there along my ribcage to where my port is. I put myself on Aloe Vera juice and am feeling better but without being filled I do have alot of restriction (could be stress or Aunt Flo). I also have an appt next week and have made myself a list of questioins to ask as well as your experinence.
