    I got the lap band in Aug, 2012. I have never thrown up. No complications until the last couple of days. I have pain under my left side ribcage and there is a little swelling. There is a little redness too. Anyone had this before? I have been drinking the pineapple juice.

    No fever. The pineapple juice will dissolve something if it's stuck. It has worked. I am fine.
