I typically look at the restaurant website to get calorie information before I go so I have an idea what fits in my daily allowance. I usually stick with soup, salad, fish and veggies when I go out. I don't drink milkshakes though- I'm sure I could, but I'd be afraid of the calories. Besides, I'd rather have a nice glass of wine with dinner.

It's soooo hard not to compare, trust me! My advice....take lots of pictures of yourself and track your measurements then compare your own progress from month to month. You'll be so amazed with yourself!

I was given one of those anti-nausea bracelets and it worked like a charm. Also, Chapstick or something for your lips, and loose, comfy clothes. I ate a lot of sugar free jello and broth right after surgery. I drink the Pure Protein ready-to-drink Frosty Chocolate shakes and love them. Best wishes to you! -
I'm at 10.5cc in my 14cc band and it's pretty darn tight most days. I don't have any coughs though. Good luck!
