Alli - this is from their website. Really.

Insurance companies do get a bad rap....my husband works for Blue Cross (who would NOT pay for my band by the way) and they put alot of their profits back into research making a better product to offer their customer etc....i'm sure their CEO makes a nice salary and all, but the average worker makes a decent living, but they have to contribute towards their own insurance policy...nothing is free anymore now is it?:omg:

  6. How funny is that...well its true we don't have A whole lotta men on here in comparison to the amount of women!
  7. If I eat something that makes me thirsty, I will take a small sip and rinse my mouth with it and then swallow....not enough to wash much food through my pouch but enough to ease the thirst.
  8. That would be a good reason for me not to do it! LOL:omg:

    May 2007 Banders

I found that a fill lowered my heartburn episodes....I read somewhere else on here that it did that for another bander....somehow the pressure of the band keeps the acids down for many people...i'm sure it is different for everyone though.

    May 2007 Banders

I know what you mean, when I get the "feeling" I get up and walk and it eventually goes away....my family just looks at me like "where's she going, we just sat down to eat" but I either took too big of a bite, didn't chew well enough or am just full......i'm still able to keep more than a cup of food though, I really thought I'd eat alot less with the band so I think I need another fill (currently have 1.4cc)-I have never PB'ed or thrown up though (knock on wood) but I will make sure and steer clear of the queso!!!!

I have a hard time with the bored or TV watching eating....I like to eat popsicles at night (leftover habit from my quitting smoking days) and it's hard to break the habit of having a popsicle in mouth.....

    Bodybugg users report here!

I've worn it all day today-it's a little hard to get used to as i'm very aware of it....I took my wireless receptor with me to work to plug in so I could see what I burned throughout the day, very interesting....I think this is going to be fun once I get a routine down.

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

I like the Safeway brand Protein fortified shakes (basically a slimfast shake with twice the protein) and they taste like milk shakes.

    Yessss!!!

That is awful, I would definitely look further out and even drive if you are gaining back what you've lost, it just isn't worth it, you don't want to end up back where you started...hang in there.

I have the same issue, it is hard....this is good that the band challenges these issues that we have made our "norm"

Whatever you're on.... I want some.. Your energy is coming through even on your posts!!!! :peace: I'm excited about the bugg, i'm not sure exactly how to use it yet....am I supposed to log everything i eat? That seems like a lot of work, but I will probably try it for the first week anyway...I'm wearing it now! It's smaller than i thought it would be, it looks bigger in the pictures I've seen.
  21. That's what i'm counting on, I am also getting the body bugg (you can see more about that on the "Body Bugg Users Report here" thread.)

I closed my eyes as she brought mine towards me so never saw it, then she had to move over to a table and asked me to "hold" it for a second....argh...that was freaky, but I survived, then when it was over and I was leaving I saw it sitting on the tray and OMG it was huge! I never really felt it, but after seeing it i'm really glad I didn't see it before hand as it really freaked me out how big it was.
