Do you see how I hit the "quote" button? that shows i'm answering you...also once you post something I believe it automatically enters you into that thread, then when you login at the top in the blue bar click on Quick Links and find subscribed threads and go to where you left off last and see all that has happened since you last visited....hope this helps.

I felt the same way before I was banded! Afterwards you then feel like..."did I really do this" and it's surreal...but I have to admit I am glad I did this and you will hopefully feel the same way too, you have a great group of people here who will support you and help you, just keep asking questions and make sure and check in on a regular basis and let everyone know how you're doing as they will start to worry!! Lower BMI Bandsters!

Hang in there Aubree, have you tried soup lately? It sounds like it may be better if you can't get the food in...btw: you really inspire me, i've been feeling really ticked off lately all these other May bandsters are losing like crazy and i'm stuck on 229 (I go up and down 3-4 lbs) but when I look at how long it took you to get where you are at I realized that I need to quit being so impatient and look at the whole picture. I have been using my bodybugg faithfully for the past month and I've had a couple of not so good days, but at the rate i've been going I should have lost about 10 lbs and haven't...it's discouraging, but in the past week i've been watching my measurements and i've lost over an inch off my waist so I know something is happening....plus my BUTT feels smaller and my husband says everything is smaller (but you never know if they are just saying that you know) thank God for husbands who tell us sweet things like that!:nervous Anyway you look so great and I love watching you progress so I hope you are feeling better soon. TTFN, Renee

Wow, that is quite the ritual...LOL I too have my ritual in the morning before I weigh...I strip down to NOTHING, not even underwear (they weigh something LOL) and then pee, then breathe in and out really deep, then balance myself very evenly on the scale (you never know if you lean too far forward or too far backwards it may "skew" the number)....We are all a scary bunch in our OCD with our :faint:scales....

Wow that sounds like it's pretty challenging. I would love to try one, but not sure I want to invest in more stuff right now. Update us on your progress with this.

I would too! Wow that's such a great tool I need one! Kudos to you for staying off the scale and not worrying about a small climb-I KNOW how frustrating that can be and how sometimes when you see the weight climb you just want to give up!! I know because I've done it MANY times, so good for you, keep up the good work....oh yeah by the way did I tell you I LOVE my body bugg? I'm running in place, playing with my daughter, cleaning my house-whatever it takes to reach my daily goals and i'm finally starting to see the weight come off! It's working! These past 4 days i've lost a pound a day! (I know I need to stay off that scale, but it's sooooo addicting! :faint:

No - you only wear the bugg on the arm, that is it.

I've had mine for 2 weeks now and my love has deepened! I'm understanding it better and able to maneuver more accurately through the program. (I've changed my goal three times LOL) anyway I haven't lost any weight yet, but i"ve increased my activity by about 75% from what I was doing so far, so my theory is that i'm putting on muscle and i'm NOT going to worry about the numbers on the scale just yet, this is amazing how much it motivates me to burn that last 200 calories each evening. I mean who ever thought or knew they had 200 calories left to burn before going to bed each night? so cooooooolllll
  15. Is anyone else having snacking issues? I'm finding that i'm eating less at meals, but i'm snacking more....popsicles (Sugar Free and/or regular-whatever I can get my hands on) crackers, popcorn, chips if they are close (usually NOT-I DO NOT buy them) yogurt, cheese and/or whatever anyone near me is eating...after I eat dinner and feel full, i'll feel like snacking 1-2 hours later, it's harder during the day since i'm working, but i'm making up for it at night and my weight isn't dropping...does anyone have any suggestions for good "snack" foods that satisfy and don't add up? Or better yet will more fill help me with that or does that even make a difference? HELP the poor Snackasaurus...:help::eek::help: :faint:

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

I went to Ortiz in TJ from Portland, OR. I too was worried about flying back, pain etc. I was walking the next day around the mall shopping and I think because I pushed myself to walk so much (not that I FELT like I was pushing myself, I felt great) I NEVER suffered from any gaspain or shoulder pain. Good luck!!

Help Me, I'm turning into a Snackasaurus!!

I'll have to try that, my favorite past time is catching up on all the programs i've recorded (when I watch "Big Medicine" about obese patients I find my snacking subsides somewhat) and playing on my laptop, both very conducive to snacking!! When i'm away from home and shopping, not eating so much, but it can be damaging to my pocketbook!!!:faint:

What kind of snacks do you find satisfying? (You have been pretty successful with the band so I value your input) thanks, Renee

    Fears of Stretching

Wow, I can't even eat a half piece of toast without it getting stuck and I don't have alot of restriction, a whole sandwich is amazing...I wonder if it's because you've lost so much and have very little fat between your stomach and band???? Isn't it interesting how different we all are?

    May 2007 Banders

I have only had one fill (1.4cc in a 4cc max - band) and i'm just starting to feel it -it's been 2 weeks - I heard that happens alot...anyway, i'm still able to eat almost 2 cups of food in a serving. I'm eating slower because I hit "full" the other night and almost got sick-NOT a fun feeling. I'm just wondering, I am scheduled for another fill next weekend and I really want to eat less so that I can lose more, but if i'm feeling restriction is this wise?:help: Can someone please answer that for me? Remember i'm eating approx. 2 cups of food each meal and i've heard that 3/4 to a cup is what I was supposed to expect ?? Can a fill really make this happen even if I'm already feeling restriction?

I have had this for an entire week now and I LOVE it! I'm finding myself marching in place on my mini trampoline, dancing with my 2 year old-anything to reach my daily total! This is such a great inspiration and toy!!! Yeah Bodybugg...:clap2:
