I agree I just rented a bouncy house for my daughters 3rd birthday (only 150 dollars for 3 days-what a great deal) and we had a blast, way better than any workout i've had in month's and it kicked my butt!!!

No I agree, it is alot of work to take small bites and chew and wait to see how it settles, repeat..etc. etc..i'm right there with you. People are always amazed at how little I actually eat anymore...as if I have a choice now...but I do love my band.:bandit

Just the THOUGHT of a cinnabon makes me drool and hurt (not drool in a good way) maybe it's time for a fill??? I noticed i'm loosening up a little with my recent weight loss? I actually had a bite of a tuna sandwich (small bite which I chewed and chewed and chewed) yesterday and I didn't PB..so I know i'm loosening up, but I kinda miss having the control with the tightness, now I have to make better decisions and it's hard. It's easy to make good decisions when you either PB so bad you WANT to throw up or you spend 20 minutes in the bathroom drooling...LOL This is Not the EASY way out, I don't care what people say, but it definitely makes you make good decisions about what kind of nutrition you are going to take in each day instead of letting your stomach make the decisions for you...okay i'm ramblng...hope everyone is having a good day....:clap2:

    Bodybugg users report here!

I use the small band but have it really loose, I can't find a happy medium either as sometimes its tooooo tight and other times it does nothing but slip down and drive me nuts...I've :eek:thought about using duct tape on occasion....

I heat mine (FF Beans) up on the stove in a pot and add a small amount of water, cook it on low and stir constantly...makes them so smooth and yummy...

Congrats on your upcoming cruise...I just took one in early august, it was sooo fun! I wish I had lost a little more weight prior to cruising, but I still had a blast and still wore a swimsuit....and I lived to tell my experience...LOL

Denise, As you know I've lost VERY slowly too and i'm losing my hair. It's not coming out in clumps but more like "groupings" of 10-12 strands...you can see the lightness at the top of my head, but fortunately I have pretty thick hair so it isn't obvious to anyone but me-i've had 5 other surgeries in my life and never has this happened to me, so it has to do with the weight loss (even though it has been light and slow) .. so I can sympathize with you...i'm sorry to hear about your husband too.

N/P I love to hear it...LOL This fill is kicking my butt. I am really tight in the am and cannot eat anything so put protein in my cup of coffee and drink a protein shake. I've lost 6 lbs really fast but i'm hoping it loosens up a little as I lose some stomach fat. I'm just so happy to finally see the scale moving the thought of getting a slight unfill is Not acceptable.

It is really common for people who do really well on a diet (I know I Have a history of this) to go overboard once they achieve significant weight loss, it's kind of a self sabotage and one that if you have ever seen a psych they will try to get to the root of the problem...with me it is a comfort thing of having extra fat on me to keep people at bay...strange, but we do find comfort in our fat even though we feel we hate it.

Ditto on the in and out...I expected more complications/more pain etc and I was up and shopping at the revoluccion the next day, running around town, laying by the pool (fully clothed of course) and on the plane home the following day and back to work 3 days later! He and his team are amazing, and I Loved loved loved my nurse. She spoke broken english but told me she had just graduated from english school and was quite proud of what she did speak, she was warm and knowledgable and very caring as were all of his staff. I wish I were closer and I would go there for all my fills etc, but i'm fortunate enough to have a local ND who does these for me who is quite experienced with the band.
  15. yeah I heard this from some other bandsters shortly after surgery too...sounds normal. I think you may live (tee hee):omg:

This is a little scary, how long has it been since your fill? You don't want to risk losing your band so if this does not go away soon you may want to consider a very small unfill. I am the also filled pretty tight right now and have made some bad choices and had some stuck episode this week so today i'm doing liquids only to see if it improves. I don't want to risk losing my precious band!!!!!!! I love the little guy.

Sooverit, I went to Dr. Ortiz, but I can understand with your previous complications why you would/should not...this is a very tough decision, but I think you already know what you want to do. I say find a way to make it work and it will all fall into place...I will be praying for you and hope that whatever decision it is that you have made that it works out the best for you... renee

That's why I had such small fills, I wanted to be sure to avoid any catastrophic visits to the ER, but in restrospect that is also why I have lost so little! Good luck on your next one! I hope you get back to where you were!!:whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:

MomLambert, thank you for your kind words. I know how hard this is watching everyone lose like crazy and the scale isn't moving for us....argh...you just want to scream! I hope this 7th fill continues to help you and if not I hope the 8th is a charm!!

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

Okay just letting you all know, I had to PEEK at the scale this morning because I KNEW I had lost, I COULD FEEL IT, and I am down to my first goal FINALLY of 228! I had hit my lowest at 229 two weeks after surgery in May and have went up and down 2 lbs (never lower than 229) since then, so this is a major victory...I think this last fill MAY be my sweet spot, I am not always hungry and I can take or leave food so I am able to make smart choices to make sure I am getting enough protein and nutrients and I don't want to munch because i'm bored!!!!!!!! You can't see it but i'm doing my happy dance..
