I'm having my band placed Wednesday December 26. Been a bit cranky I think it's my nerves. Only a few people know I'm having it done. Not to proud that I failed myself. But looking forward to shedding this extra person I've been carrying for the past 12 years.

Congrats!!! My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. Had my pre-op Friday and I was a little taken back that I was told I couldn't eat anything but clear liquids on Christmas Day!!! Were you told the same?? I was expecting nothing after midnight. I don't think I would of scheduled it for the day after Christmas if that was told to me at time of scheduling. I plan on calling the office on Monday because when I called Friday they were already closed. The nurse at pre surgical office couldn't tell me why so I'm a little confused. If you have any insight I'd appreciate it. Btw I can't wait to be where you are now. I bet you feel fantastic.
