Anyone have Aetna insurance with 4 month wait and 3yr proof of 40 BMI ? If so did they put you through the ringer or were they cooperative...i just don't want to be all geeked up and the big insurance company try to throw a wrench in it to save their big pockets

Has anyone did the Lap Band or sleeve with doctor Riley interested in the sleeve surgery as I know he has performed lots of lap bands

My service does not do lap band plication.

I decided in December i would do WLS it would be a band or a sleeve and i cannot help but bounce between the two and i have to know by March??? I've got input from long time banderS even joined this version of forum talks for sleevers...i must admit this forum rocks! Along with researching I am ready to be successful but feel like the sleeve is more guaranteed yet despite what they say invasive, but i have to loose this weight. What was your deciding factor?

I am preop and have not went even to first of my required 4 appointments prior to approval....i.initially I said i wanted a band thinking i really want a sleeve, but am slightly nervous, but getting more comfortable with research...want real feedback from people who've been there
