5 pounds in 9 days is awesome if you lost that for a year it would be over 150 lbs a year.

I was banded on the same day. I feel great.

I had surgery on Tues. Jan. 22nd. first 4 days were rough but I could have went back to work on Friday if I had a job. today 2 wks out if I didn't have these incisions I would not know I had surgery. All is well.

Hang in there it will go by before you know it. If they deny appeal if they still deny re apply. It will happen

well I was gonna name him George but saw someone else stole it already so I am back to the drawing board.

I didn't get real excited until I was approved then oh my goodness it was better then winning the lottery.

Hi guys 9 days post op had appointment to have staples out. Was I ever happy to find out I lost 4 pounds. said I wasn't going to worry about scale numbers. I lied. this is cool. I then went to primary doctor to find I have actually lost 16 lbs since DEC 20th. I was also told I could start soft solids today. how nice it was to chew.

That is over 3 lbs a week that would be 150 lbs in a year.

my full liquid diet is anything I can blend smooth and thin to pour off a spoon. Mix it up.

My surgery was on the 22nd. I go tomorrow and have staples out then go for fill end of Feb.

Prayers going to you. That will be a bummer.

Please don't stop!!!!! And yes I am a stalker of you and several other on here and no I wont stop!!!

Chantelle hang in there everyday gets better. I am a couple days ahead of you and feeling much better. Today has been my best day yet. I was banded on the 22nd

Surgery was about 84 hrs ago. Yes for me everyday has gotten better, I wish the nausea would go away. I know I did not eat enough today will try to do better tomorrow. Me not eat enough now that's funny.

ok a little over 48 hrs post surgery. think I laid in bed way to long this morning. Now I am up and moving. feel better. just small amount of pain in shoulders and big incision. 1-10 probably a 3-4. the coughing to clear lungs is the worst. but it has to be done. it looked like a hair ball this morning helps to hold belly I was in hospital one night and stayed in hotel one block from hospital 2nd night. I am gonna gather my things and head home shortly.

not bad little painful at times

I am 36 hrs post op I feel pretty good. We went from softball size sore spot in each shoulder to golf ball sized overnight.(gas).

I will be checking into hospital in one hour. I will see you all on the other side. Thanks for all the knowledge, advice, and encouragement.

I love love love this post. I will be among the blessed and banded in about 14 hours. This was such good info. Everybody that has, is getting, or cares about someone with or getting lapband needs to read this.
