I had my surgery at the Portsmouth naval hospital in Virginia. My husband Is retired military. I'm almost 8 weeks out and have good days and bad days. You really have to eat slow and listen to your body. It's more mental than anything. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk -

Im nervous but so excited to start to losing weight. Does anyone else think its cruel to make food addicts go without food? When I stress, I eat. Hello 4 days to surgery and I want to eat. I'm trying to stay focused on the prize and not the moment. I cant wait to hear from everyone how their process is going.

Does anyone have any information about Portsmouth naval hospital bariatric program. My insurance is tricare and I've been approved thru them for the surgery. My initial appt. is Thursday .
