Hi ya'll.

My struggle with weight has been a long one, but after the realization that my increasingly tight work pants going up to the next size was going to result in a trip to a "big & tall" store enough is enough. Besides the obvious desire to look better, weight related health issues have affected my family for generations and it is time to do something about it before it's my turn on the bypass machine.

So, I took a friend's recommendation and made an appointment with TrueResults in Houston after a particularly unflattering photo over the Thanksgiving beach vacation. A little over a month later I'm on the pre-op diet scheduled for surgery on December 31st.
