Before surgery I had a BMI of 38.3 (110kgs) and my target is to get to a BMI of 23.8 which means I have to loose 41kgs or 90lbs. Or 37% of my body weight. My target weight is 69kgs.
I just love food and it seems the foods and drinks I like are not good for me. I tried diets and I exercise a lot. I've run a marathon and loads of half marathons. So I'm fat by fit. But the weight really causes me issues when I rundown I suffer from tight calves and my running shoes don't last long.
My Dad died a few months ago of a severe heart attack and I learnt that the make side of the family have a history of heart disease. So I've decided I must loose weight and my lifestyle must change drastically. I've also been suffering from snoring and asthma and an acid stomach - all symptoms of being obese.
