I haven't had the time or the energy to focus on ME this weekend. Ugh. Here's today: B: Medifast Cappucino S: Few wheat thins, 1 string cheese L: chocolate Slimfast D: Broccoli and Beef (about 1/2 cup) S: Medifast Latte So, as you can see... Not only did I drink most of my calories, when I DID eat, it wasn't the best choice of foods. Oh well, I guess it beats pre-band. LOL

He better not tell me he's not filling me after I drove 3 hrs each way. LOL

Syesha is really the only girl I like. David Archuleta is going to win it all. I hope. :smile2: I really like the other David, too. And Chikezie.

I just saw that it's going to be in the 40s on Thursday. So the snow problem will likely work itself out. (Hopefully not right into my basement)

Pre-banding Feed Frenzy....
Angie4b1g replied to HarleyGirl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The week before starting preop diet, I told dh "The eat is ON". LOL Luckily I didn't eat enough to gain any weight, but not from lack of trying! -
Amazing transformation! As I currently look like your BEFORE picture, I find great motivation in seeing what you were able to accomplish. If I can end up looking half as good as you do, I will have succeeded! Thank you for sharing!

Going crazy on pre-op diet
Angie4b1g replied to nurselori73's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's only 2 weeks out of your life, you can do it!!! You're on the homestretch to surgery now! I was pretty miserable the first few days while my body went through carb withdrawal, but once I got over that, it wasn't awful, and I was losing weight quick, which kept me motivated. -
LOL at the 13625 tattoo. Love it!

It's interesting to me that most people want D. I've been DD most of my adult life, up to F as I was on the fatter end. All I have ever wanted was to be a C so I could buy the cute little matching bras and panties. Even at goal weight, I was a D and hated it. I guess we will see what I say when it's my turn at the knife.

Would take a heck of a lot more than a couple feet of snow to keep me from getting banded! You'll make it!

Angie4b1g replied to southerngirl21's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I have definitely wanted some stuff during my post op diet, but FEAR has been a great motivator. No way am I eating anything that might cause my band to slip!!!! -

Warning: Keep an eye on your rings

I already see my mother's hands when I look down, so I'm afraid to know what will happen once I lose the weight!!! -
The patient who knew too much....
Angie4b1g replied to Laineyjeanne's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
It's like when I used to say "When I have kids, they won't act like THAT!" and my grandmother would say "watch what you say...." I have THAT kid now, and every time I battle it out, I hear her laugh at me from heaven. -
I was just not allowed for 2 weeks post op. I weaned myself off of it before surgery, but then I started back on that 14th day. lol
-
Mine was 1 day liquids, 2 weeks puree, 2 weeks mushy.
-
They didn't ask me to come back, and they probably should have. LOL

I told dh I needed an anniversary band in the next size down to hold mine on. :tea: -
ACK! Last week my daughter had it, which was scary enough. She's old enough to make it to the bathroom and I didn't have to clean up after her. Even still, I stayed in bed all day. Now my 3 year old has it!!! I'm having dh clean up as much of it as I can, and the Purell is staying close but omg. I'm so paranoid that I'm going to start puking!!!!

I was allowed to add a small amount of pasta 2 weeks after surgery.
-
It's always interesting to me what people cheat WITH. At least make it COUNT. LOL
-
I'm excited that everyone wants a book. But if you don't contribute, it's not going to be much of a book. Right now I have about 8 people that sent recipes.
-
I wasn't excited about spending it, but I did. At this point, I'm glad I did. But even if I end up failing, there's no reason for me to beat myself up over what's done.
-
I hear ya. My neighbor is always saying I'm doing it the easy way, I'm cheating, etc. If she really believed that, she'd get the surgery, too.
-
I get a pedicure every month. Does that make me a bad person?
