My surgery is scheduled for March 13. I still haven't heard from Aetna about being approved. I am soooooo nervous. Idk if I am nervous for surgery or scared to hear a no. I am going crazy. I have called Aetna twice and get put in hold and Dr hasn't called me back yet! I am freakin out!!!

I am still hoping for March 13th. My pal Ashley at the Dr. Office Started submitting paperwork to the insurance company this week. So she says. We'll see! I'm getting so excited! Had an upper endoscopy Wednesday. Worst experience ever!! Blahhhh!!! But staying positive!

Hi! I see a few people are sched for March 5! That's my bday! I am "scheduled" for march 13--- PRAYING my insurance approves me! Aetna is theeee worst. But anyway, I'm so scared nervous excited.. etc! Good luck to everyone

Yeah I feel like a lot of my friends that I have told feel like I'm taking the easy route. If only this was easy! And they have no clue what I go through in my head being so overweight! In no way is this easy!

Yes definitely! I didn't have the surgery yet. Scheduled for March. If insurance cooperates. Which is another story. But yes let me know. It truly is my biggest fear lol

I am praying!! lol I shouldn't even say I have only been this big for four years. I was up and down pretty much forever but right before I gained all this weight I was pretty small at 150 and I didn't have any sagging! Thank you guys! I hope you're all right!

I have Aetna as well and I am so nervous I won't be approved. They have all this criteria before they approve it and when I tried speaking to the dr. Office they just kept saying "well take care of that" like ahh what does that mean! I have a date set and have been going to my appts and if I do not get approved I will be furious! Also with work I just can't keep switching things around which is another reason I am freaking out. Do they not even attempt to get approval until after all my appointments? I have secondary insurance which this dr seems to have a problem billing so I always get stuck paying then submitting a bunch of paperwork. This is like an insurance nightmare!!
