Caint wait for that to happen to me!

My hubby is supportive now. But that wasn't the case when I first brought up the subject of getting sleeved. I went to all my appointments by myself. But he got on board when I took him to my psych appointment. Before that, I was too having these same concerns. Because of hearing some previous stories that some people do divorce. Well what changed is me. I decided to keep going. I m praying for myself to be healthy and more actively involve in my kids lives and not just be a spectator. To not always be in pain. To at least not use my kids as my remote. As parents and mothers we hardly ever put put selves first! Your getting healthy for your family as well. You are a role model too. But, yea counseling for me, if I and when I need it. Blessings to all!

When I first started my husband wasn't super supportive either but, I keep with it and he got on board especially after I took him to the psych visit. Try including him in your visits. Mine only went to one the he got on board. I haven't fully told my mom yet. Another story. God luck

Yea it is a plus. Because I did 6 months already. And I can't believe how fast Time past. Quicker than you know. It take time to mentally prepared, even though i wish i had done this sooner. Well, i will be going to my second Nut visit and 2nd pre op class next week. Then meeting my Surgeon again the next day. I may be going alone to meet the surgeon because my hubby was pre scheduled for a work event. But he will take vacation for my surgery. Im look forward to getting my surgery date. You will do well too. Good luck to all.

I am 48 and I have about 4 more months to go before I'm sleeved prayerfully. i m going for my 2 nd Nut visit and then I will see my Surgeon the following day. like one poster said its like a full time job! I have 5 wonderful children 22, and 18 year old college student. A 16, 11, and 5 year old. All Boys! And a supportive hubby. Caint wait to Rock the rest of my forties and hit 50 looking like a real nice diamond. Lol Shout out to y'all.
