I was gonna try to be strong and just use liquid Tylenol but oh no bring on the drugs! I'm so incredibly sore. Haven't had any issues with liquids though so I've been very hydrated. (Sipping slowly) also sugar free popsicles = amazing!!! Anyone have any advice for the changing flavor of my Protein shake? I had surgery this afternoon holy cow I am sore. Thank god my mom is here. She's doing everything from adjusting me on the bed and pulling my pants up after I pee. I feel so helpless!! I was gonna try to not use the RX but that's a joke, just took it!

Hi everyone I am just now waiting for my wheelchair to get here because I've been discharged. Surgery went great according to what the surgeon told my mom but I was in a lot of pain once I woke up in recovery. They pumped me full of meds. Gas pain is mild in my shoulders but it hurts to try to get a cleansing breath. Hopefully this goes away soon, more annoying that painful. I am quite nauseous because I haven't eaten since before 10PM last night. All I know is I can't wait for some Jello and sugar free Popsicles as soon as I get home. I am officially in band land!!!!

Less than 24 hours we will be at home on the couch and newly banded! Lol!!

I go tomorrow to be banded and now I'm absolutely terrified. I expect to be sore but not completely miserable... Yikes.

I have my list of the basics but does anyone have any recommendations or things you wish you would have had the first week after surgery?

I'm on a crazy posting spree lately! I have an *** with Blue Shield of CA and I was wondering if anyone else has this insurance? I'm not able to really get a price estimate until my pre-op consultation and I'm antsy to know what kind of money I'm looking at. I'm thinking most if not all will be covered since they had me to a 6 month program and meet with dieticians and psychiatrists etc...

I use double Water. And a tangy crystal light like lemonade. That's odd!!

Every day surgery gets closer I get more nervous :/ I know once I'm asleep it will be official... I'm terrified. Lol

I really like muscle milk light, but I feel like I always have to add banana to it which adds calories. Also 1 scoop is only 12 grams or protein for 110 calories while Unjury is 1 scoop 21 grams and 90 calories and available in ALL crystal light flavors!

Whey is the best! Unjury dissolves great but you have to be patient. No blenders or blender balls just a spoon and a glass

unjury unflavored!!! It's barely detectable and you can mix it with sugar free pudding or crystal light! 21 grams per scoop and my surgeon loves it! I buy it from her office!!!! ???Š
