Ladies....You all are just too funny. :eek: Getting 2 dollars off for an oil change on senior citzens day was a hoot. Does'nt is seem that everything started going south in our 50's? The 40's seemed just fine. Now I'm starting to wonder about whats going to happen in our 60's....besides socal security,medicare,ect. My husband laughed, but I did'nt.I have always looked young for my age. I'm hoping the old lady had really bad eye sight. Here's something else.....I'm having a little trouble relating to some of the younger tv shows too. My mom says that even though she's 70, she in her mind does'nt think she is.

I take Members's Mark Gummies childrens multivitamins. It says do not exceed recommended dose ( 2 a day) But thats for children, I've been taking 4 a day. Do you think thats ok?

I know I eat to fast....and befor I know it I'm in the bathroom getting rid of it.I have learned that if I'm having trouble eating something, if I take a few bites and I start getting that feeling....wait about 20 min.and then continue, it seems to help .

SueSue, I'm starting to think I may know. My band seems like it is getting slowly tighter. I have a feeling that my fill doctor is going to make me have exrays next time I go in to see him. When I was in getting an unfill befor thanksgiving the doctor said that if you pib or get sick really hard that can make the band slip. I did that when I tried to eat a chile dog. I only got three bites down befor all of it came back up. What was I thinking.

I like everything you both just said...... I have always believed that if you cant say anything nice.... just keep your mouth shut. I have also noticed from a one of my threads on Christmas, not all people think like that. I was taken back by some of the things that they were saying to each other.

Please...No mean,hard luck stories.We have all had bad things happen to us. One of my early memorys as a child was my daddy and brother bringing in a Christmas tree;one that they had just went out in the field and cut down. We would make the decorations our selves. We used painted egg shells, foil to make bells, pop corn to make garlin, and we would allways make a star out of card board and cover it in foil for the top of the tree. When Christmas was over my daddy would just take the tree and all the decorations out and burn it. Yes we were very very poor. I was to little to know it at the time how poor we were. Christmas was very simple then....back in the 50's, when you lived in a two room house with no running water; out in the country. I knew I was loved...by my daddy, brother and sister; thats all the mattered to me. Merry Christmas everyone

Something is wrong with Christmas when people.....and you know who you are....complain about it. The true sprit of Christmas is giving, giving to your loved ones,giving to even people you dont know. People who really need your help. If someone is being greedy, Show them, Teach them how to help those who really need help. If done right, this could be a life time memory. A memory of what Christmas is.

I have issues with chicken too. Sunny side up eggs or eggs over easy come up right away too. No more eggs for me; unless they are boiled.

Thats ok Kelly don't worry about it....I understand. I have plans with my husband today anyway. He is going to join Cardial Fitnes with me. I'm hoping we get a deal, since I've been a member for two years. I really need a push to get my but to the gym. I had gained 4 and half pounds when I got my unfill. Thanksgiving and vacation did'nt help. We are going to walmart after that to see if we can buy my sister (who lives in joplin mo) an eye exam and new glasses for Christmas. She doesnt have much money and really needs new glasses. We are hoping to be able to pay for them at this end instead of sending money. Terry
