Hi Everyone...:confused: So are we all on for lunch at Chedders at noon this monday ? I promise I'll be there this time. It looks like we have a few new people here at the thread ... I hope they will be able to join us for lunch on monday. I'm getting a fill on tuesday. I havn't lost anything in three weeks. Jennie did you have a nice vist with your family in Ohio ? Kelly, I feel the same as you. Everything gets stuck, so thats why I have been eating soup, salad, ect. I have been throwing up 2 or 3 times a week....every time I try to eat meat; you know chuncky things.I'm fixing pork chops today and I'm going to eat one even if I have to put it in my food processer . Sometimes I feel like I could use a fill. Thats the days I feel like ( was that a lot I ate ?) I probley eat one cup of food per sitting on the good days. I got up at 4 am to walk this morning. Its getting hotter..... Talk to you soon...on the first Monday. Terry

Well.....I guess I'm going to need another fill. My weight just isn't moving.....and thats with me walking for one hour every morning. I have started keeping a diary of my food intake and weight. It seems the only days I lose weight is when I dont eat anything solid like meat. If I just have soup of salad I do better.

Hi there Jennie, Have lots of fun on your Ohio trip. I just got back from visting relatives in St. Louis, and befor that my mom came to see us from Ohio. One more pound to go and I will be right where I was befor all the visting started. Jennie you are doing really good , I see with your weight lose. You seem to lose it faster then me..... Hi CKBW, I was going to go back to Mexico to have Dr. Ortiz do my fill but I found Dr. Rohrscheib in Clinton Il. to do it, instead. I had my surgery on Jan 22,2007 and had my first fill on May 3rd. Dr. Rohrscheib charged 500.00 for the first fill and 80.00 for every fill after that.

How do you know if your pouch is enlarged ? I recently went on a weekend trip to vist family and all we did was eat out . I gained a pound even though I was trying to be carefull. It seems like I can eat a lot more then the doctor told me I should be eating . I have had one fill so far with my lap band and I fill restricted enough . When I had my fill, I did'nt have the fluro. I have desided to go on a liquid diet for four or five days to see if it will shrink. Does anyone out there have any input ?

Hi all I was banded in mexico on Jan.22 2007. My bmi was 37. At time of banding I was at 210 lbs. Now I'm at 194 lbs. I just recieved my first fill about 3 weeks ago. It took me a while to realize that I just won't lose it unless I exercirse . My husband and I are walking/jogging now for the last 4 weeks. I take my vits. and for breakfast I have one slice of ham with a string cheese. Lunch is my biggest meal. ( pork steak 2 ozs and a salad) Dinner is salad, or water melon, ham wrapped around a celery stalk. Every night my treat is sugar free pop cycles.

Hi Kelly, Wow..... 21 lbs :confused: Thats really good girl. 21 lbs from your surgery day right ? Hey..... I did change my tickler....I'm losing so slow you did 'nt notice..... I have to go to St. Louis this weekend for a Confirmation and party afterwards. It's not going to be an easy diet weekend. It's my husband's side of the family and they don't know about the band and I want to keep it that way. All we do is eat out every day when we a there. I do a lot of pushing food around on my plate. They are all big people and being over weight does'nt bother them; so they would'nt understand about the band. It sounds like Tyler had a nice birthday. Hope he got lots of toys.... see ya Terry

Hi Kelly, Yes I'm losing......but only about one pound a week; sometimes a little more. My husband and I are walking every morning for an hour. Today I slowly ran the last block home....I must have looked funny running because I could hear my husband laughing his head off behind me. :drum: This is our third week doing that and now I've started to see the weight start to come off. I'm being very careful about what I eat too. How are you doing with your weight now ? Sorry to hear that you won't be meeting up with us on 6-4-07. Terry

Well.....sometimes I get to drive my husbands Viper. Never had it in sixth gear.....you have to be going at around 160 for that gear.

Hi Everyone, Why dont we all just meet at Chedders from 12 to 1 on the first monday of every month. That way we will always know when we are getting together so we can plan. So lets just skip this month and plan to meet from now on at Chedders on the first monday of each new month. Ok ? Please reply back to this e-mail so we all know we are all in agreement. Ok? Hey....Kelly, Thats really great. I'm glad it worked for you this time. I'm starting to think that I may keep my appointment for a fill on the 29th. Who did your fill here in Champain ? I did'nt have anything for pain when I had my first fill and I was fine. I'm just wondering why they hurt you with this last fill. I wonder how Jennie is doing. Terry

Chedders is fine with me. I will have soup though. As much as I would love to have the meat and vegt. they just wont go down. So.....Everyone......We are meeting at Chedders on May 28th from noon to one. Terry

Kelly, Would you rather go to a different place for lunch ? How about Cheders ? Or.....any place else.....I'm easy. When I go to Olive Garden I always have the Soup and salad. I am having a bit of a problem eating too. The only thing I can eat right now is fish , soup, or salad. I have been eating tuna salad for Breakfast ; it fills me up and its got a lot of protine. I dont eat anything until dinner time. I keep waiting for the weight to start dropping off, but its going very slow for me too. I have been very carful about what I put in my mouth too. I am only eating healthy foods; low carbs, low cal. My husband and I have been walking every morning for an hour and that seems to be helping. I have to get my body moving in order to lose weight. If I dont get it moving......I just dont lose. Let me know where you want to go.... Terry p.s. I cant wait to talk to Jennie too. I to want to know what she is doing. Maybe its the canned chicken ?

Has anyone tried bar Ivory soap grated up in their flower garden to keep the bunnys away ? Last year I used a deer spray but that became expensive .
