Champaign Illinois Anyone? Central area?
crazycat replied to simmons775's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hey Kelly, I buy Russell Stovers Sugar Free chocolates for my husband. They still have a lot of fat in them; less sugar. 3 chocolates are around 180 cal. All most every night I have 3 or 4 milk duds, but thats all. Have you tried suger free pop cycles.....fudge cycles ? I don't fell guilty when I have my milk duds because I know I'm way below 800 or 900 cal.count for the day. I'm still having trouble eating real food. I have to put everything in the blender. I toss my cookies at least 2 or 3 times a week. I am able to eat a half an ear of corn....almost every day. ( corn season is in now ) Today I'm making my zuppa zappa soup and I'll have to put it in the blender. Terry -

Hey everyone, Well yesterday I went to my step brother's wedding at my Dad's house. My step Mom and I did all the flowers for the wedding.( Which by the way was really lots of fun. ) The weather was just beautiful as was the bride and everything else. So here's what I'm getting at. My Dad who is 75 and will say anything he wants to. Said to me....Did you get a new bra or something ; or did your boobs grow. I said yes I did, but really I had on a very good girdle , it pushes everything up. The fat has to go some where when you push it up. You never know what is going to come out of kids....and old people's mouths. :car: I just wanted to share with everyone some funny moments in every day life.

Hi Kyethra, I was just at the mall yesterday. Have you had hair loss ? I pushed my second fill appointment back too. My first fill lasted about 2 weeks. I'm on my second fill now. I hardly eat anything solid. 3 bites of anything and I'm in pain. But its working. Now I'm trying to figure out just what I'm going to do when my husband and I go down to St. Louis to a five star resterant. What do I eat ? Ice cream ? We are going there to celabrate our 31 anniverany. Hey Kyethra are you going to be able to meet with us this next month ? We meet at Chedders at noon the first monday of every new month. Terry -

Hi JA6402, I'm on my second fill now and heres what I do when I eat. I eat until I start to feel just a little pain. When it starts, I stop eating or you will need to throw up. I only get in about 4 or 5 small bites, eating vary slowly. Rule of thumb....If your weight has'nt moved in two weeks you may need a fill. Even though I hardly eat anything.....I'm never really hungry. When I quit eating my food at meals , its because of the pain setting in , not because I don't want more food ; I do....I just know better because I know I will throw up. The Band really works if you learn to use it the right way. So quit looking for that full feeling.....When the band is working you should'nt have it. JA6402 I hope this helps you. It may be different for others. This is how its working for me. Good Luck with your weight lose . -

Hi Kelly, So glad to hear that your little ones are doing better. My son had to have tubs put in his ears when he was little too. I know what you are going though with that. My second fill is really working great . I'm down to 187 now. I was at 194 a few weeks ago when he gave me my fill. I can't seem to get my ticker to update. I must be missing a step so where along the way of up dating it. Terry -
Ok everyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. I went to Edit Signature, Option 1, cut and pasted bbcode, got invalid file message. I then tried the HTML and got invalid file message. The Ticker I have right now is an old one.

Hi Jennie, I'm doing really good. When I had my second fill on Tuesday I weighed in at 194, and now I'm 190. I'm still on Soup. I have noticed this time I seem to be tighter in the mornings . Have a safe trip home Jennie. Oh.... by the way I hear your sister is buying a house in Monticello really close to my best friend. I guess they are hoping to go walking together. Terry -
This sounds really good. I can't wait to try it.
-
This recipe sounds a lot like the White Castle hamburger recipe. I can't wait to try it.
-
This sounds wonderful. After you brown the sausage , what about draining it and running hot water over it , then adding the vegt.back into it ? Can't wait to try it.

Now it said I'm at 194. My scale at home is around 192ish.....Well with no clothes on. Well.....Hope you can meet with us next month... Terry -
Copycat of El Pollo Loco Chicken and home made salsa
crazycat replied to crazycat's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hi areellady, Yes I think you can just omit the oil all together. I think I will do the same the next time I make it again. On the salsa when I said roast the chilies....I just put them on top of the burners of my range in the kitchen. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Have you ever had El Pollo Loco Chicken befor ? There is a chain of these resturants on the west coast. -

6 bonless skinless chicken breast 1 ( whole ) plastic lemon juice 1 ( whole ) plastic lime juice 1/3 cup of orange juice 1/3 cup of canola oil 1 teaspoon ground turmeric 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Put everything in a large freezer bag and refrigerate for 24 hours. Then grill the chicken on outside grill until done and serve with home made salsa and fat free flower tortia. ( The only way I can get the chicken down is with lots of salsa ) I roast 4 Anaheim chilies on top of the stove until black 1 large can of tomatoes ( diced ) 1 whole bundle of calontro ( diced ) 2 or 3 Tablespoons of ground garlic ( in the jar ) 1 salsa seasoning package 4 green onions ( diced ) I put everything in the blender ( except the onions ) The roasted anaheim chilies give the salsa a smokey kind of flavor. It will last refridgerated for about 3 or 4 days. -
