I had my surgery dec 17th and Christmas was a blur as far as holiday food. I was recuperating and not hungry at all. Now it has been 12 weeks and I am down 34 pounds and feel great. I have 5 cc in a 10 cc band. Thankful for the chance to change my life and look forward to achieving my goal of 60 pound loss. Yea!!! Good luck everyone! This is the best thing I have ever done!

Hey all! Banded on Dec 17th and down 25 pounds. Had infection in port incision so I stopped exercising for two weeks, restarting tomorrow. Had second fill today. No restriction with 1cc with first fill. Today was 1.5cc, on clear liquids for 24 hours but can tell I feel it. Love all the support and advice here. We all rock!!!

I was very happy with Dr Fusco, banded Dec 17, 2012.

My surgery was Dec 17. No issues at all post op, only lost 16 pounds so far. My first fill will be Jan. 16. Have been exercising for the first time in my life. I unfortunately got an infection in my port site, Dr thinks it is from a stitch inside working its way out. Very sore and little drainage coming from it. Was told to use peroxide on it three x a day. Looking better now. I am very discouraged with weight loss. I was one of those junk food junkies and a wine and beer drinker and have a big sweet tooth. Have done a complete 180 and can't imagine how the weight is not falling off. Hope the fill makes a difference even though I have followed diet to a T and not overdone eating at all.

I was banded on 12/17, by Dr. Fusco. No nausea, no vomiting, gas not bad. Very happy with my care.
