Thank you. My headache got so bad I actually threw up. I cant believe I am this addicted to caffeine that I get physically sick.

Day 1 of my 2 week full liquid diet. Wish me luck that the next 13 days are this easy! First day wasnt so bad. I have an awful headache though that I think is related to a soda withdrawl.

Im 24 and getting banded on sept 10. I feel the same way. Its like im beating myself up for not being "strong" enough to do this on my own and being in my 20s I feel judged like people think I am taking the easy way out. But like you I just cant trust myself to make the right decisions. I have too many ill do it tomorrow moments and im ready for the weight to come off and stay off!

I bought pure protein whey powder and on the back it says to drink with your meals. I am fixing to be on my pre surgery liquid diet. I thought these shakes were the meal replacement. Am I drinking the protein powder and a meal replacement shake?

Is it normal that I feel more nervous about all the foods ill never get to eat again then the actual surgery? Its mixed emotions of excited and a little depressed at the sane time

I am getting banded September 10 and I am so nervous. I am so ready to have my life back under control and enjoy being in my 20's and stop hiding in my house because im to embarrassed to be around people.

Thank you so much for the support!! I am relieved to see that I am not the only one who felt like this. I want to do more things with my husband and be more adventurous without feeling the embarrassment and I want to keep up with my two year old son. My dr said I was a low BMI too I am starting this journey at 227 lbs but I am 5'4 and dont carry it well and it has affected my health now. Hypertension and joints are starting to hurt. I am on my feet12 hours a day at the hospital and I just look around and see people twice my age who dont even flinch when it comes to taking the stairs 6 flights down or running around for 12 hours straight dealing with different situations. I am determined to get healthy again before I wake up a few years from now 100lbs heavier! Again thank you so much for the support!

Im 24 and live in brunswick ga I am getting banded sept 10. How was the surgery?

I know pre op is full liquids and protein shakes but I am confused about after surgery I was told shakes are to thick so how are we getting protein I have a protein poweder that mixed with milk would be technically a shake but im confused about post op diet

Hi my name is Jessica. I am still awaiting insurance approval but if all goes well i will be banded in January. I am so excited but so nervous as well. I am 220lbs and i am hoping to get down to 130lbs. I have a 17 month old son and I want to reverse this hypertension and live to see him grow up. Any advice would be great! After getting the band is it like a constant struggle and war between your head and stomach? I am a bored eater and don't have very good portion control. It doesn't help that my husband is so skinny and can eat whatever he wants which makes temptation pretty hard for me.
