I also no how u feel. I was all ready for surgery in 3 wks. N they keep finding something new bout my ins. Now I gotta wait to see wen the surgeon from Louisville can come assist with my dr. ggrrr I hate not knowing, ive been a nervous wreak!!

My surgery is probably gonna b in the nex 3 wks which is our vacation to Florida. N I was wondering how long after I could go. I haven't had a chance to ask dr. yet. Its nerve racking cause we had already paid for our rooms now we gotta change

I feel for yall. I'm afraid that's how I'm gonna be. I told my family too feet ready that I would probably cry for my food, because I no this is a addiction n coming off of it all at once is gonna shock my brain. But I am gonna make it, I will just have to pray more.

Well I'm 49 n my surgery should be in about 4 wks. I'm waiting on ins. Should hear them in another week then my 2 wk pre op then surgery. I'm wondering at my age n health issues from being over weight am I gonna be able to exercise. Getting real anxious!!

Same here as with the sweets. I need the restriction. Ill b to afraid of dumping. N plus they use the esophagus part of stomach to make micro pouch. Which is the size of a grape and does not stretch like it use to ( which it still can just noy as fast). It use to be the size of a small egg. So I figure ill lose quicker.. My surgery should be in about 4 Weeks.

That Wat I'm scared of is 2wk liquid pre op!! But all these testimonies are uplifting. Im aboit to start my journey in 2 Weeks

I no it dont seem real to me yet. Ive been doing test n 6th mth diet so I will be finished may 14 then 2wk wait on ins. Then a 2wk pre op diet. I'm so ready. I was having sleeve but my ins. Has a hold on all sleeves so its the bypass. Does anyone no which one u actually lose the Most weight with? Ive come to far. I want it to get here.!

Does anyone no how long it takes for the medicaid to give the approval once everything is turndd in to them? Ill have mine turned in may 13th. But may possibly lose my card june 30th... Very scared ive went thru these test n 6mth. Dr visits

Well I at almost 49 n weighted 325 I'm now 314lb I hav been overweight for 32 yrs now. but I to go to Florida every yr. N hav been embarrassed several times that I cried. I made first trip to dr. about wt Dec 11. My INS requires 6mth record from ur dr. with nothing but weight recorded i cant go with a sinus problem n wt. It has to be wt. Only. So iv made my 2nd trip. N my wt surgeon wants a EGD, Upper GI sleep study, blood work, dietician (which ins. Dont pay) heart dr. w stress test,echocardiogram, then pulmonologist, and finally psychologist. Slew full of test. Hes a ver safe dr. so I'm ready for surgery at end of may. I'm so excited!!!!!!

My excited just to get my surgery in may!!!! I'm 5'4'' and my highest wt was 325 and im gonna be thrilled jus to be able to see 200 mark. But I think 160 or 165 will be about right. Or I hope so :/

Oh I will let u no. I no its only a little over a week since I mailed my papers in. but seems like its taking forever, seems like time go slow. Has anyone started trying to get their mind at that change yet? I jus can't imagine me not eating allot, since that's our entrainment after church! Oh me Lord help me, cause he's gonna have to.
