A sex thread? Right on! It's been too long. Did you take any pics for us? HAHA, just kidding (no I'm not.)
-
Oh, and stopping after dinner is gone. I have a hard time putting my dirty dish away and calling eating time over. Always gotta get a few last bites of something in.
-
That's what my hubby calls me when he's talking to the dogs, DaMama. Hi there! Banded words to live by are chew, chew, chew. Don't eat big bites, don't eat fast and don't swallow anything that's not mushy. Good luck and welcome to the fam.

I had bad port infections for a year, but I never felt any pain. You should get to your doctor ASAP to have a pro take a look, k?
-
FYI, I had my band removed 12/27 after 1.5 years, and I still avoid drinking while eating. I might sip a little, but that cup of coffee or drink right after my meal has to wait a solid hour. It's a good rule, keeps the food in my belly.
-
Angie and Donna, are you both eating tiny bites and chewing till your face falls off? That's really important.
-
I called that 1-800-Psychic hotline for you. They say "She needs to be diligent and stick with liquids for a few days, then stick with mushies a few more." Oh, and your face is so skinny!

Jamoorse, erosion is a slow process. You wouldn't be eroded only after 2 weeks. Staci, high five on that endo! No need to worry everyone, just get annual endoscopies and keep an eye on your band. I'm living proof that erosion is NOT the end of the world. I'm still fighting the battle without a band, but I'm still kicking!

Paula, yer no bigger en' a corn nub! (John Wayne.)

There's a huge difference. You are wide awake for an Upper GI. You drink barium Fluid while they x-ray your stomach, which allows them to see how the barium flows through your stomach. You are asleep for an endoscopy, which is when a camera is inserted into your mouth and down your throat to take pictures of the inside of your stomach. The camera is tiny and attached to a long tube, so you don't feel anything.

Stupid friggen coc@#$%!$%whor! night demons! I'm totally normal for breakfast and can eat rabbit food for lunch, no problem. But I get possessed at night. Once I start eating, there's no stopping till I've hurt myself. I can't get passed it.

Thanks, Sal, but I bought the plum one over the weekend. However, I never went to the prom, never had a wedding dress, never did formal too well. Now that I fit into a pretty dress, I think I'll start a collection. I'm taking any and all plus size formal wear! I'll rent them out, or play dress up, or put them on my husband for (let's not go there.)

Chris would say, "I could sop 'em up with a biscuit and swoosh them around my mouth."
-
Uh, they aren't wearing earrings or nailpolish. Princesses need pretties, Granny. Geeze, do I gotta do everything?
-
Don't beg for an endo. Lie for one. Put on your best Susan Lucci and tell them you vomited blood a couple times in the past week. They'll probably schedule you for an immediate Upper GI. Just go with it, but when the results come back fine tell they you vomited blood again yesterday. Mix some green eye shadow with your foundation if you gotta. Kathy, I had certain bronchial problems also. food sitting in my esophagus added to a few years of bulimia left me with Barrett's Esophagitis, so maybe there's a possibility that your band & breathing are related? Just a thought. Hi by the way, nice to see you

What's up with WLS people & collar bones?
DeLarla replied to Wheetsin's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Collar bones? I'm confused. Then again, I'm wearing a Mardi Gras mask conversing with someone wearing a snorkle. -
I have to hijack my own thread for a second. Chris was looking over my shoulder and saw a screen name and said, "WHO? ROAD QUEEN?" I've told him about all the banded biker babes before, but it just now registered in his coconut so he wants to know when you'll be here. Celest? Asphalt? Nana? Open invite! And thanks for the compliment! I'm going to keep my camera on fuzzy mode from now on!
-
Here's from behind.
-
I need a new camera but I have a good chance of winning one at the Slumber Convention in March I already took the dress off before checking the pics so they're fuzzy. Sorry, but I like it that way cause it distorts my distorted flabby arms! Can someone flip & shrink this? Paula, nope, we aren't wearing masks to the formal but I haven't put on a face or hair yet. Hey, there's an idea for getting to work on time, just wear a feathered mask.

Infection isn't good, so let's hope it's tender from your furbaby incident. But make sure to see your doc. Kuri had to remove my first port due to infection, so keep an eye on the area for redness, heat or swelling.
-
Stick with your instincts. You don't have to tell anyone you're banded, and you don't have to feel guilty.
-
Hairagain and everyone else, I still struggle every single night. Days are easy, but demons possess me at night. One tool I use is the phone. I collect banded phone numbers and yap their ears off. Find food buddies, and call them.

Possible Clothing Swap for Texas LBTs...
DeLarla replied to banded_for_life's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Somebody give Leatha a sandwhich before she blows over in the wind! Wow, what a great LBT shot! Sucks that I'm not near Texas cause I have a truckload of clothes, but we'll be doing a Vegas swap in the summer. I'm glad it all worked out - good job putting it together, but where are the pictures of women in underwear trying stuff on? -
My puter doesn't let me go to that site. They must have naughty nighties, so I'll look from work tomorrow - just don't tell my work!
