Crystal & Cheree spent their credits on $1000 vacation vouchers plus tons of other stuff. Is it next year yet?
-
Ya'll know DeLarla loves her blang blang! Here's the ring I earned (yep, 14k & real diamonds!)
-
Thank you everyone for such wonderful compliments! As you can see, we were (still ARE) all elated! We earn Convention Credits for different reasons throughout the year, and then top sellers hit the shopping room first. I was 199, so here's me waiting to spend my 240 credits (I was #199.) That shopping room was unreal, with vacation vouchers, home electronics, computers... but DeLarla headed straight to the jewelry counter!

I gotta take a lunch break & will work on smaller sizes & more pics when I get back! Come back & visit later when all the pics are ready!

One of my babies!
-
This might be my favorite pic so far. Tabitha is my Slumber daughter, who brings so much sunshine to my life. Even Chris considers her our baby. Here's me & my kid on Bourbon St. Susan, I think I'm figuring out how to get them smaller. I'll keep trying!

Here's Chris with Melissa, the gal that was on Wife Swap. Advisory Board member, etc. Chris had a HOOT! Susan, I'm at home today & hate this puter nonsense but really want to post pics!
-
Thank you, Susan, it's taken me 3 hours just to get to this point. I do NOT like computers!

Here's some from the Mardi Gras Party! Chris with 700 girls on Bourbon St.

I met Jeanie last Christmas and loved her leather vest. She promised she'd give it to me if I made it to Convention. The first day, during opening speeches, she presented me with my new lucky vest & said, "JEANIE JONES & LISA BONES WERE MEANT TO BE." My new lucky leather vest fits perfectly, so please give a huge round of applause to our top 2005 producer (check out the 2K diamond they gave her!)

Probably the proudest moment was 700 women crying at my Great Gramma Linda's recognition. Look at the beautiful award (that's my 24 yr old Granny in the blue.) Linda was also given a poster size check for 9 grand in addition to customized Slumber Laptop, etc., etc. You can see the poster propped up next to her.

Sorry I'm not responding, but I'm working fast as can be cuz I have tons of pics to add! Here's me dreaming of opening a door next year!
-
There were 5 prize doors. I earned one key last year, but some women earned 20-30. One my Mom's keys was pulled out of the hopper, so she got to try a prize door. When that key opened her door opened, a parade of people in French costumes exploded out and presented her with a trip to Europe. UNBELIEVEABLE!

Me with Slumber's owner, Kim Brecheen and our new 2005 Top Distributor, JEANIE JONES (I'm crying again, you gotta know these amazing ladies.)

Celest, I hope you see this because I have to log off LBT immediately (dying ill, at work for only 1 day this week & leaving to New Orleans at 6 a.m. tomorrow.) So first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! Second, I saw the heading about moving to Africa, and I'm enormously intrigued but don't have time to find the thread again (puter crashing, cases going to trial while on on vaca.) All I can say is that at the top of my LOTTD (list of things to do) is get my passport so I can invade your new African digs! SO MUCH LOVE & GOOD LUCK TO YOU! Do they ride Harleys there? XOXOXO

You guys thought I forgot about you. Sorry, no can do. We're off to Slumber's National Convention next week. The first night is the Diamond dinner party cruise for all the top sellers but I'm not a Diamond (phooey) so I can't go. But the 2nd night is the Mardi Gras Party, where 500 crazy women & spouses have to dress up in costumes, so my Slumber daughter made me buy these horrible cha-cha heels for the party that already caused 2 bleeding owies (there's a reason I wasn't named Grace.") The heels are filled with flashing colored lights when you walk. They're gonna kill me since I'll be over 6' tall, but Mardi Gras is a freak show so everyone wants me to wear them. The 3rd night is our formal where all the top producers are recognized and prizes galore are awarded. Thankfully I found conservative low-heel dressy shoes! We are all so excited - there's about 20 of us Vegas girls going, and over 500 of my US sisters staying at the same hotel! Chris is trying to pretend he's not excited about a week of hundreds of Slumber girls (one cutie sharing our room) but he's not hiding his excitement well! I'll post pics when I get back!

I can just feel the love from those pics. They're lucky boys, and you're a lucky mom!

Uh... Slumber toys don't hurt! I wish I could capture the blnking lights but I don't know how to use my camera.

Paula, I've been busy with Slumber & getting ready for Convention. This is the BEST thing I've ever done! How did you know about me & Jack? Nice cuts on my ankles, huh? I tried kicking off the shoe and cut myself, and as I tried recovering I cut the other foot. These shoes are leathal weapons.

I've been thinking LOTS about the bash! The date is August 26, which is the last Saturday in August. I chose that date because the pool starts to cool off in September, and the pool is way too much fun! Since everyone is requesting a Slumber Party, and since everyone will want time to play in Vegas, should we cancel the restaurant and instead do the Slumber Party at my house on Friday night? We can order pizza and keep food simple, since the following day is the Suarez at my place. This way anybody that doesn't want to attend the Slumber portion won't be affected during the Suarez, plus everyone will have Friday night to do the Vegas thang. How does this sound: Friday 7:00 p.m. Pajama Slumber Party my place Saturday Suarez Pool Party at my place Yes, pajamas will be mandatory Friday night. I'll accept sweats & fuzzy slippers, I s'poze. Celeste & JoLynn, we can move the trailer to the street to make room for your bikes, and yoons can fight over either the goat-smelling couch or the futon since you'll prolly be exhausted and Jenna already claimed the guest room. Or Chris will make me sleep on the couch and he'll share the bed with you ladies. He's really giving that way.

Question for the people who have had there bands removed...
DeLarla replied to aligirrl77's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
My port incision never healed and was infected from right after surgery. They removed the port a month later, but the incision stayed open and infected for 8 months. Then I got a new port, which also became infected. After about 18 months I started feeling really strange and knew I was eroded. I was eventually given an endoscopy, which revealed erosion, so I had the band removed. I still feel like something's wrong with my belly. -
Is burnt toast a Southern thing? Paula, we're in the same boat. I cried to my doc last week so he made an appointment with for diet school (as if I don't know "what" I'm supposed to eat.) My friend bought positive affirmation tapes to listen to as she falls asleep. Instead of all the thoughts about how bad we ate, we replace those thoughts with how good we are. Cadydid told me this, and now my friend bought some tapes. Remember, no matter how bad you eat, you are a beautiful, LOVED, amazing woman at any weight.

Why not ask her what she already knows n' take it from there?

Pregnancy okay at 4 months post-op?
DeLarla replied to StephanieRaye's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
My only advice is to name her DeLarla.
