In 2008 I weighed 303 lbs, 12 months later I weighed 152...(I did it with calorie counting and exercise) I had a tummy tuck in 2009. 3 years later I had gained almost all the weight back and I knew the only way for me to keep the weight off was WLS. I was banded almost 3 weeks ago! -
A US cup holds 8 oz...fluids, flour, sugar etc...I weigh proteins as it's more accurate. I'm from the UK (Sleaford) but I live in Las Vegas and I know we don't measure by the cup in the UK and I was confused when I first came here!

Sounds about right for day 4! I think my bloated feeling disappeared on day 5 and that's when my hunger returned,....it was strange it happened all of a sudden....Hope it goes away for you soon....19 lbs is awesome! -

You most probably still have some gas as you are less than a week out and that's most likely what you are feeling...just sip slowly.. 15 lbs is an awesome loss! As the days go by you will feel better and better. You made the decision to get healthy and you'll do great! -

I was the exact same way...I couldn't get anything in me for the first 4 days then on day 5 the stuffed feeling reduced and my hunger returned so I was able to drink more...the fullness will go away soon... -

I didn't do a pre op diet and my follow up was 2 weeks after surgery and I was down 18 lbs from surgery day..... -
I like Fage non fat plain..65 cals and 11.5 g protein for 1/2 cup!

Wish I had some words of wisdom...sorry, but I feel your pain. When you can eat mushies, it will give your diet more variety...hang in there hun!!

I have a husband and 4 children so I just cook what they usually eat, for them.....Me I'm still on mushies and when I graduate to "regular" food I will adjust my food and cook different for myself if I can't eat what they are eating. So far it hasn't been a problem.....they are all very helpful and supportive.

My husband doesn't have a weight issue and he is behind me 100%...I still cook him and the kids their food and I have mine...I have 4 children (5 if you count hubby!), so there is some less than healthy food in the house and I'm not going to change that, I need to change me!
