I'm not sure about everyone else but for me it took a lot for me to get even tipsy but since I lost weight it's a lot easier lol.

For me I'm glad they gave me morphine drip though it was very weak.when I got home I was real gassy from surgery and I was so bruised. My dr works different from others I only had to be on liquid diet for 5 days I think then mushy then solids. But had the band. -

For me I went home the next day though I sure missed the pain meds -
I had very little reflex before surgery then it went away but came back when it got tightened. My last visit.

went in for another check up i has been a year and 3 months since surgery. i know i have been through alot since. i have my days where i dont feel my best and days where i feel on top of the world but when i stepped on the scale today i was so happy to see 263 =) and when i started off from 333 so happy to have lost that much weight now if i loose 90- 100 more pounds ill be even more happy

going in for my 5 week checkup cant wait to see how much i lost ... i dont feel like i lost much but i can kinda see a little difference in my stomach not sure if it was from the swelling or what... cant wait to see where im at... yea!!!!!

man its been 4 days since surgery im still in alot of pain... luckly today was one of my good days though ... cant wait till this gas passes though..

my doctor works differently he has me on 3 day liquid diet 3 day puree and if I can tolerate solids then go for it... because everyone heals differently.. I was just banded the 19th im still sore and healing im wanting to move around a lot which I guess is good im just ready for this gas to go away.. and I totally forgot to weigh myself day before my surgery after my 2liquids and a solid diets.. but I weighed myself today and the scale said I weighed 305.5 where did it go? but I originally started off at 330 -

they told me since day one not to drink soda because of the bubbles I defeats the purpose the surgery the bubbles will introduce air in your stomach causing it to expand and feel uncomfortable.. plus the sugar would still be bad... I been working on getting coke out of my life and I do admit its hard very hard... switch to Snapple or something you like,,, like tea. with sweetnlow... my surgery is the 19th so I prepared 7 months ago... =) -
