Congratulations everyone! I have made it to day 7 post op! Yeaaaaaaaaa! Yogurt has never tasted soooooo good! Gas pains are better but I have been having a Splitting headache with dizziness. I was told that it was my body fighting for that Liquid Codine pain meds. So I was determined to FIGHT back with prayer and a Execedrine. We must all fight through these pain killers while recoverying. I have did to many family therapy sessions with families who are fighting these terrible drugs.....that they ususlly get addicted to after a surgery (what happen to Michael Jackson after his burn injuries when hair caught fire). Please be aware and be safe with your pain management narcotics my band family. In addition.....we have been launched into a MAJOR FAST with food. This is a awesome time to do a spiritual fast and cleansing also with God. Be Blessed Bandies! Ttyl

Im praying for you and your mother! I'm glad u were spared the gas pains. It hurts and when I am relieved......my entire family is miserable!!! LOL!! But,....they won't be laughing this summmer when im in my 2 piece! Blessings and Prosperity to you!

I'm 5 days post op and following my liquid diet....no cheats. But im burping a lot and it hurts. Is this normal?......ive been reading here more about "regular gas", but is burping something that can disturb the placement of my band??? I have also ONLY lost 2 pounds!!! Uggggggh! I need a breakthrough, ...some motivation! This is hard!

I was banded Monday also.....New Years eve. I haven't noticed any results nor have I lost any weight. But I am tired of all the gas...how do I have so much darn gas from a liquid only diet!? I'm excited to see results!!!!

Thanks everyone! I made it thru surgery quite well. But the post pain is rough! It feels as if I got stabbed several times in my chest, stomach, and left shoulder. However, im on 1 day post op and I feel a little better. No more shoulder pain and medicine is starting to help slightly with stabbing feeling. I have no regrets about my banded decision....even with this pain. NO PAIN NO GAIN!

Good morning banded family! I am headed into surgery this morning and im excited along with being nervous. Please pray for me! I would also like to thank everyone for all of the great responses, guidance, and support that I have received on this forum. You guys are priceless! Blessings to you all! I will be back soon with updates while I recover.

Merry Christmas Band Family!!!!! I have been struggling horrifically with my 2 week pre diet. The holiday rush and food has been hard to resist cravings or skipping meals not following diet. I guess if I was great at dieting I wouldn't need the band...huh?? Will it be easier to follow the diet once banded? Did I hurt myself or my future with the band by not getting this pre diet right?? :-/
