Heres 3 things for those that dont know. For the women: Rasberry leaves make a great tea that can help relieve Monthly BLOATING. I made some for my wife and it helped with in 30 minutes) Pepermint tea: Not the tea bags but fresh or dried leaves not only taste good but work for: relaxing you at night to help get a better nights sleep. helps with digestion. And for those who get alot of headaches, drink pepermint OR spearmint tea daily. It really does help. Red Clover: (MY Favorite) This tea puts your immune system on the roof : I have woke up feeling like the dog used me for a chew thing and drank this stuff all day and never let the cold / flu get me. I hav'nt been sick Since i started this. When my wife brings something home from work we start slamming thins stuff and feel better with in 24 hours OR LESS. SOME OTHER FACTS ABOUT RED CLOVER. Blood purifier and detoxifier, with known anti-cancer properties. Free radical fighter. Benefits prostate health. Helps with loss of sexual desire, mood changes and depression. Protects against pesticides (The British have extended peoples lives who have cancer by giving them high doeses of red clover) One of the most useful anti-cancer herbs. The positive effects of drinking the tea of dried blossoms accrue over time, characterized by a thinning of the blood and complete cleansing of deadly toxins from the system. Research suggests it is an anticoagulant, helpful in treating thrombosis, and confirms the presence of compounds that inhibit some laboratory tumors. The whole plant is being included in experimental treatments for diverse cancers. Used to treat colds, bronchitis and sore throats. Useful for skin ailments. Acne , Skin Rashes. Add the flower blossoms to your salad for a colorful treat. Make your own sprouts.

HI ! its best not to use the prepared stuff. You cant be 100% positive that all thats in it is what you want. Herbal stores are a good place to get it. Alot of the BIG grorcery stores have a sec tion where you can buy herbs in bulk. Dont let the price tag of red clover make ya nervous. around here its like 20 dollars a pound. 1 oz goes a long way for about 5 or 6 bucks. AND pick those leaves right from your plant. rinse 'em off and boil a hand full in a few cups of water for 5-7 minutes. Use a strainer lined with a coffee filter to strain out the leaves. Use a little honey (natural sweetner) or equal. Red Clover has a "floral" taste to it that I find very soothing and relaxing.

Good Post ! -
No Problem. If you Pm me your name I'll tell Dr. Rumbaut you said Hi ! He's putting my band in on the 4th of may. (and doing a fill for my wife).
-
the other possibility is you may have a "larger" band. In a larger band 2cc wont do squat. Call Dr Rumbaut's office and verify what size band was put in. Talk to Doralisa. Or email them. Fox's office has been telling us that they cant get a response from Rumbaut but when I talk to Doralise yesterday she didnt even know anything about my wifes band having a problem.

now wondering about lap band

All I can speak on is I know One guy that has lost 25% of his excess weight with only having one fill so far. he came in at 450 lbs and is now at 260lbs after his 2nd fill. However, He took his diet to a new level. When he wants to eat, Its all about a protien shake. He max's his Water everyday and walks 6 miles a day. His actual "food"" intake is 3 "shot glasses of food. (3 oz's.) thatsa it. -
Well, If it was me (and it will be soon) I would go to tacoma radialogy and have the fill done (florascopic (bad spelling) ). they did 5 fills on my wife and didnt notice a LEAK for the last 4 fills. and when it was discovered that that the tube was BROKEN from the port and could be an extreme health risk. they wouldnt touch it untill we gave them the 5,000 dollars to fix it. My wife likes Dr. Shriekanth (spelling) compared to Fox Jr. However I dont trust them at all. Oh and Since you went to Fox,, In that Very first meeting You paid 25 dollars to go to where he laid out his "sales pitch". He said "we're like a family" When something happens, we're there for you". I still have never seen Fox again and the only one who even cared about what happened was the nurse Karen.
-
Sounds like you went to Dr. Ross Fox.

Hi All ! Well my Wife had her band put in last year in may, and now its my turn. 1 year later. I must say I almost wouldnt do it because of her problems. The band leaked, The band broke, It had to be replaced. (NOT CHEAP) Ive read stories of "slippage" and "Swelling". But not "Broken bands" Any one else hear of a band breaking ? It broke where the tube goes onto the port. Oh, I'm going to Dr. Rumbaut in Mexico. thanks all.
-
ummmm,, It was Dr Rumbaut that put it in. I'm not sure what the whole deal is at this time. But I do trust him and believe that it will work out in the end.

Actually "Inamed" says it was'nt one of thiers. So no they didnt pick up any cost. The serial number is being sent to all manufactuars to find out whos it was. The doctor that put it in said it WAS and Inamed. However, the port pulled out was a Metal one and our doctor says its possible thats its the sweedish band that takes a thicker Fluid. After the way she was treated up here we've handed it over to an attorney to seek the replacement cost.
