Can anyone tell me if I can add protein powder to my clear liquids?

Me too. I only want to hear postive feedback from people. I made my decision and am excited!

I was also quoted the same price for plication and the sleeve and I too decided on plication and now I think I will go with the sleeve so hopefully it wont be a big deal to change.

Thank God I found this post. I am so mad at myself for eating and eating. I guess it is a food funeral because I love cereal and have been eating mass amounts of it so I am going to get rid of it. In the book Skinny Jeans the Dr said to actually eat a little of what you bring home and then throw out the rest.Do it every time and soon you will stop buying it because it is so painful to waste food. I am so glad I am not the only one struggling and I do think that I will need counseling because food brings me emotional comfort.

Isn't it funny how we don't want people to know. I am careful about telling friends and family that I know struggle with weight and who will be supportive. I am worried that I will fail at this too and just get larger and larger. . Happy surgery to FinallyMyTurn and JOJO57. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hi All, I am self pay and have surgery scheduled January 17 with Dr Ortiz in Mexico. Not sure if I am going get the Sleeve or Plication. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. Do any of you know how long recovery is for Sleeve surgery.

Does anyone know what the possible complications are for gastric pication.I am trying to decide which procedure is the best for me and have not found a lot of information on this procedure.

I had breast cancer/DIEP reconstruction done that included a tummy tuck. I am about 70 lbs overweight now and am considering lap band. Does anyone know if there are any issues with banding since my skin and stomach are so tight in that area?
