My name is Amanda Rowan and I am 21 years old. I'm a Georgia girl :) I have always struggled with my weight my entire life. I would lose a little here gain a little there. Finally, long story short my parents surprised me for my 21st birthday and took me to a seminar about lap band surgery. I was thrilled. We decided to go through with be procedure. I was banded on June 29, 2012. I can truly say its one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm not going to sit here and say that having the band is all peaches and cream because its not, I have my moments. So far though I'm loving he journey!
