  6. Its not that I am hungry, I am sick of the shakes! I dread them so bad. I don't want anything sweet. I don't even like the sf popsicles anymore. Now I've been having the cream of mushroom 98%ff soup strained. Now that was a nice change. I can't wait to try a scrambled egg. Good luck.

    Craved foods post op...

Hi, I am 1 week post op today, I am still not hungry. I did try strained cream of mushroom soup 98% ff made with water and I didn't season it. It was a lot better than all that sf crap! I never thought I would say I don't want sweets, but it happened today. I am drinking my 4 oz shakes 3 X a day, not liking them, but know I need the protein....so good luck. heck I am ready to get past all this liquid stuff.

    vitamins & biotin

They had me swallowing pills the day after surgery. As long as they are small. I take them 1 at a time with a sip of whatever I am drinking. My loratab, the dr. said break it in half and take it that way so thats what I do. Hope that helps.

    Getting in fluids...

My surgery was Jan, 28th, I am still on Clear liquids with 3, 4 oz Protein shakes a day....I am mixing them up all kinds of ways.....OMG, I can't hardly stomach them. Today I am going to do a cream of chicken Meal Replacement. I figure if I can do the protein shake, I can do this....I gotta try something. I just dread doing those shakes! I am getting all my fluids though so thats a plus. Yesterday I got out and about for the first time. I was wiped out. Went to bed really early. Today is a new day! Good luck and hope you find something that works!

    January 2013 Sleevers?

Hey all, My surgery was Jan 28th, I am doing pretty good. I haven't used any of the nausea meds prescribed. Today I haven't had a pain pill. I was nauseated a couple of times in the hospital because of liquid pain med and beef broth, will never do beef broth again. I went 18 hrs in the hospital with out pain meds for fear of making me sick. Right now I am still on clear liquid and 3 4oz shakes a day till I see my dr. on the 7th. Yesterday I got about 60 oz of liquid in. It was the first day to get in all 3 shakes. I still use my spirometer and I am doing 5 min walks 6 times a day. I have steristrips on my incisions, except the one they took the stomach out. I have 2 stitches. My left side hurts when coughing, sneezing, getting up and down to sit. So today I went to the store and bought a support camisole. My husband had to help get it on. Let me tell you my left side feels wonderful. I don't have to hold my stomach to get up and down. Now I might be sore when I take it off, I hope not. Last night I was able to lay on my left side for just a little bit. As everyone says, its better every day! Day of surgery I was 254, this morning I was 246, I had lost 33 lbs the day of surgery. So far I love my sleeve. I haven't been hungry since surgery.
