Yes it does..I'm 4 days post op and I can't get comfortable. I can lay down for a little, but then I get real uncomfortable. Then I sit up in bed for awhile and try to get comfortable. I have been ending up going and trying to sleep in my lazy boy, sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. Last night was a bad night, no matter what I did I couldn't get rid of my shoulder pain. I only slept about 2 1/2 hours total last night -
I have been using the heating pad, taking gas-x, and walking..so I will keep on doing what I've been doing and hopefully it will start to get better.

I've made to the other side...just left the hospital 15 mins ago...feeling kind of rough right now and so thirsty but l can't drink much at all without feeling sick. I know it will get better though! -

Tomorrow is the big day..I'm getting excited My surgery is not until 2 pm and I can't have anything to eat or drink after midnight tonight The no eating is not a problem its the no water, but I will manage...I hope :S -

Day three was hard for me still, but today is day six and I haven't had any problems!! It does get better, hang in there -

Myself, my husband, and my mom discussed it...my mom is helping me pay so she had to know. My mom kind of has a big mouth and told more people then I necessarily wanted to know. Ive told one person at work. My immediate boss is nosey and keeps asking what kind of surgery I'm having. I just keep responding I don't want to talk about it now, but I'll be ok.

Has anybody gone out to restarunt while on the liquid diet? My pastor wants to take the leaders out to eat and my husband wants to go..I know I can't eat..it 3 days before my surgery..of course it is at a restarunt that I have never been too, but I've always wanted to go to...go figure
