Ladies, i am in the knee high boots! I am wearing a size 16 from a 22/24 in 6weeks!

I had family visiting and i thought it would be ok to have a drink(rum punch). And the day before i ate some mac& cheese.....both of those turn out to be BAD idea's. I have been in the bathroom since 5am. My tummy is sore not to mention my bottom this the worst. I never want to feel this way again. For best results follow directions! No alcohol or food i shouldn't eat .

Week 5. I had to count it up cause i thought i was at week 6. I tell you old habits die hard but my band is definitely the tool i needed.

I am @ my 6th week. I can eat a little more and I have some soreness around the port area and a stitch hanging out.....should i be scared? No appts with doctor til Jan 10,2013. WWYD?

When I started losing weight my youngest daughter gave up fast food and soda. She has given me some of her old jeans to wear. By the way I am wearing a 16 vs 22-24. You might be the inspiration your daughter needs.

I was banded on the 7th of Nov and i have sharp pains when i move sometimes it usually gas.....

32lbs down. very exciting. my goal is 30 more by Jan 10. That's when i go for my first fill.

Even though i have lost weight without formal exercise. My 2 yr old grandchild keeps me moving. Some funny things are starting:one day i was walking and i could feel myself walking different, then i realized, my thighs were not rubbing...lol. Then while getting dressed for church i put on a suit that used to be really tight and my belly poked thru the button holes....lmao. when i put it on and looked in the mirror.... it looked like i had on someone elses clothes......

My insurance didn't cover the sleeve. The band is working fine for me and to be honest i need the discipline.

I cant cook right now in fear i might put something i shouldn't un my mouth. my husband is starting to slim slow.....lol

My family is amazed at the way i have to eat...lol they wsoting for Thanksgiving dinner and i cant drink a 4 oz glass of anything.

I got down more liquid today( day 7 for me) i did fill a little bloated. I got down about 6 ozs total.

I have only been able to have freeze pops/popsicles. Broth gave me gas. I am gonna have to wait another week for the shakes...too much gas!

I live in Michigan. The protein drink i have is called Rutein and my surgeon makes and sells it. The nervous feeling? I was so nervous but afterward i was glad and relieved. This surgery is definitely going to be my most valuable tool in keepung my weight down.
