Well, tomorrow is my day! I have to be at the hospital at 6 am. They said I am the first surgery, which I guess is good. I am nervous but I know I'll be fine. Can't wait to be on the other side of this! Good luck to everyone who's having surgery this month!

I live in Fort Worth and my sugery is set for December 6th. I started my pre op diet today, so far so good! I was suppose to start on Thanksgiving day, but I didn't want to explain to my extended family why I wasn't eating. I'm going through True Results in Hurst, they've been extremely nice and helpful. I am starting to have some anxiety about the surgery. Not the lapband itself, but the IV! Of all things, I know. I have rolling veins so I'm starting to drink a lot of Water now! I would like to lose about 75 pounds. My husband had the sugery a month ago and he's lost a little over 30 pounds. He's done so good!

My husband had his lapband sugery yesterday (I will be band in December) and he is having a very hard time sleeping. He's not having pain from the surgery, but pain from the gas in his shoulder. He's sleeping in a recliner, with heating pads. He's been walking and drinking Water. Had some chicken broth and juice. Any suggestions?? I feel so bad for him..... Thanks!

Thank you for your replies. He slept a little better last night and went for a walk this morning. And I'm going to buy him some peppermint tea to see if that will help. Thanks!
