Welcome. :-)

Good luck to you all tomorrow.

Stay strong. You can do it!

Just had my EGD. Wasn't bad at all though I was awake for the whole thing.

I have my EGD scheduled tomorrow and had a light breakfast and have to have clear liquids the rest of the day. Man this is rough. I am stuck at work until 2am and have to be at the hospital at 7am. I guess I will just pull an all nighters but it will get even harder with nothing after midnight. Ugh.

I start my pre op diet tomorrow! Time is flying by. Surgery coming up on the 12th.

Can you let me know what to expect with the EGD? I have mine coming up in a few days and am a little nervous about it.
-
I went to my class and tried some of it. It wasn't bad. It is one that is recommended as well as unjury.
-
Does anyone know if it is okay to go to work about 3 hours after having an EGD? I will just be sitting at a desk for work and occasionally talking to customers over the phone.

Yesterday was my pre-admission testing. I am got a call today from the doctor's office. Now that some of the results came in, they want to schedule for an EGD. I was hoping that I was done with tests and felt nervous to have to do another. I know it is a precaution and most likely has something to do with my years of reflux. I just hope all is well and we can still proceed with surgery on March 12th. EGD scheduled for February 28th.

My surgery is March 12th. I am lad that for the most part I have been able to do get around and do daily tasks with ease. However at age 33, my life has been pretty limited when it comes to just having fun. I have always loved to go swimming but I feel like I am just stared at when I got to a Water park and I can't even do much but go in the wave pool or lazy river. It has been years since I have been able to ride a majority of rides at an amusement park. I may find one to two rides to go on but that is it. I mostly get stuck with watching everyone else's stuff while they go have fun. My partner has been dying for me to be able to go kayaking with her and I can not wait to finally be able to go and enjoy an active lifestyle with her. One thing I am excited to try that neither of us has done is zip lining. :-)

Today was PAT day. It sure was a long day but glad to be another step closer to my surgery on March 12th.

I am very excited too! For some reason I am looking forward to trying out zip lining. I have seen a few videos on YouTube of it. I have never been able to do it because of my weight. Also, I look forward to leading a more active lifestyle with my partner. She has always loved the outdoors and I can not wait to be able to keep up with her when we go hiking :-)

I am excited. Not really nervous so far. I am looking forward to the changes to come :-)

I am 33. My surgery is scheduled for March 12th. I am excited for the changes to come and the whole new active lifestyle that I hope to have. One fun thing that I have been looking forward to doing is zip lining. :-) I too get nervous when thinking about the stages that we all go through after surgery. I am glad that I have support in friends and family. Also, I am glad to have come across this app for additional support. -
My surgery is scheduled for March 12th. I am excited and slightly nervous.
