    I feel like I'm going to vomit any second, and I'm having anxiety about this......banded 12/17/12...im scared to death of vomiting with the band!! Someone please tell me if I throw up my band won't slip!?!

    Ladies, I'm curious if your menstrual cycle changed at all after surgery? I'm on mine now, and it's awful. I also feel on the verge of throwing up. I was banded 12/17/12. I'm scared to death of vomiting...I don't want to slip the band...horrible headache too..not sure what I can take, I'm not allowed to swallow pills yet..this is hell

    I'm in this stage now..I'm doing low fat yogurt, cottage cheese, pureed baby veggies, tofu, scrambled eggs....and tuna with light mayo, and lentil soup....

    I never had bad menstrual symptoms...but right now I'm full blown headache, feel like I'm going to puke, cramps, ect....they say weight loss makes periods awful...I think it's true!

    It took me about 5 full days until my gas pressure went down...but I know the number of days are different. My surgeon said time and walking were the only things that could possibly help the gas go away, I took gas-x, but it didn't help me. I will say, my first week out of surgery, I was constantly on the phone with the clinic, asking questions. Maybe call her again to clarify...

    I had strange feelings after surgery as well, was banded 12-17-12..the gas pressure effects everyone differently....don't panic, I know can feel scary, just be in close contact with your medical team..hope you feel better..

    I would always get a pain in my upper left chest when I would eat soft food...dr wants me to have upper GI in a week if pain continues

    I started mushies after a one week liquid diet. To sum it up, although I enjoyed eating real food...my body just couldn't seem to tolerate the food...my surgeon told me to go back on liquids for one more week...oddly, I was relieved. I think I just need more healing time, does this sound abnormal?
